Doing the maths those shares were issued at 9.1p. That nice little tick up served us well from 8p reducing the dilution a little bit although still happy it is only a 0.63% dilution and no cash outlay required.
Taking full settlement in shares has to be a positive sign and could well have been the thorn in GRL's side in relation to the permit.
Lets wait and see but looks like a clean run in to permit news now.

Needless to say it lasted all of 2 mins the GM, LC read out the two items, 98% V 2% in favour for both and closed it, ignored any questions put forward.

Doggy - LFT news may be “delayed” in many’s eyes. If we’ve learned anything in that period it’s that there is clearly a good reason for it that is being kept under wraps and look at what else has happened. So much more going on than just the LFT. Sadly the business isn’t being priced that way but just sit back - unless you were in here for a COViD related in and out investment which is fair enough but I would have changed my view and seen this is a fantastic medium term risk reward investment. Relax

The hard work is done for AVCT on these licensing agreements. It's a great business model and exponentially scalable so I hope we see many more in the near future.

Completely agree - would be great to see "disruptive biotech" start to take off and directly challenge the big pharmas who have had a monopoly on this stuff for so long. I guess it would only need a competitor of Pfizer/AZ/Moderna to see some promising potential in this and get behind it.

Sorry ignore me.....so much going on I got mixed up. The spike-ACE2 inhibitors is a funny one for me as it is basically an alternative to vaccination. With my cynical hat on, after all the fanfare over the vaccines, would the govt be hurrying to validate/test/roll out something that would cast any doubt over their "magical" vaccine and its "heroically quick" rollout.

If it is Adeptrix, why would they be delaying consent to publication?

The things that makes this company so difficult to put a value on is the licensing of IP route that they like to take. If Affimers get the positive attention from providing part of the solution to this pandemic, that is another huge win for their multi use business case. Licensing deals from that could be exponential - the problem is we never know what the terms are as they are commercially sensitive. So it could be a case of one day we all look at the accounts when posted and say “where the hell did that money come from!”.
