The nature of AVCT's agreements mean a lot of up front payments, royalty percentages etc etc are all undisclosed due to the commercial sensitivity of the deals. Which makes sense - the second you make your price point public, that's the going rate and you've "made your bed" so to speak.
That makes it really difficult to value some of these partnerships and licensing agreements that we have certainly seen an uptick in recently.
I said this a while back but I think the financials this year could be a "Jesus where did that money come from" moment!

Absolutely wyndrum. The big one I probably missed on the Covid front is that absolutely nobody understood the virus for months, and still don't! It's mutating, research suggests something different every other day - you're trying to hit a moving target blindfolded. How about you take a step back and have some perspective on what AVCT is trying to do an the industry it operates in.
It is a small cap biotech company - since COVID it has been catapulted into the lions den with the big boys in the pharma world.
AVCT do not have thousands of staff, endless resource, unlimited R&D cash to throw at this stuff or receive and govt funding. Then look at what they are trying to achieve:
BAMS (on sale for research purposes)
ELISA
LFT (AN and saliva)
AVA6000
Neutralising therapy
Licensing deals for Affimers in various non covid areas (Astrea RNS).
Look who we have on board:
Daewoong
LGChem
Brucker
BBI/Moderna/Cytiva(maybe still)
And you're trying to tell me AS has gone from hero to zero because its later than he naively told us last year, when actually most of the issues have been third party related (bar the focus on Saliva initially)?
Nothing has been shown to not work and this is the biomed industry, delays are inevitable working in a space where it is EXPERIMENTAL. The man has done a great job in spinning all the plates that are going, whilst trying to protect the financials of the business as well as the Affimer IP - (i.e. not chasing a quick Covid buck like Innova did despite some like xxxyyyzzz thinking that was the right thing to do).
People need to cut him a break, take a step back and realise what has been achieved here. The foundations have been laid.

I have no idea where they get these plebs! I’ve an old account I bought some AvCT at Uni with over 8 years ago and am below breakeven in that account. There was a 1 to 100 consolidation in 2016 so my average there is actually £1.31.
