Just been looking thru the Presentation.

I found it as detailed and far better than another comparable retailer's investor presentation. What do other think?

There’s flooring is rubbish mind. I slipped and broke my wrist in one of their stores 2 yrs ago…… Very slippy flooring tiles.

Bullish piece here. These SP fluctuations mean nothing to me. The FTSE is well off yet the company still trades between solid ranges. This is a NEXT in the making. Machin and Norman are cool hands.

Am I right in thinking there was a buy order for £8m yesterday or have I erred?

I see Peel Hunt has upgraded today to 425p on the back of a facility visit to the 18000 sq.ft North London store.

Can anyone explain to me why institutions have such a small holding compared to retail investors.

Sorry, what has this to do with M&S

I was the financial PR adviser to Next when George Davies got (correctly) booted out and David Wolfson stepped in putting his son in as a trainee. The effect was dramatic .The Late Lord Wolfson came from that intuitive Jewish retailing background and knew exactly what to do. Wolfson senior saved NEXT and his son drove it onwards and upwards. I sense the same sense of purpose with Norman and Machin. I was a newcomer to M&S only getting in at £2.74. Nothing will flush me out. I will sit on this stock for the next 5 years. It's another NEXT in the making.

My feeling is that the results are going to be outstanding and analysts have been getting guidance from the company. I think we will see the upper reaches of 450 before too long.

I am a bit puzzled to find one of the NED's, Cat Valentine, is noted in the NED board section as being a director and founder of Belvedere Communications. When I researched it seems she is not listed as the co-owner and Belvedere 'appears' to be in liquidation. When I researched the lady further it appears she is a director of a company she controls called Rawlings.-a PR company. Other NED's seem very sector experience weak. If the company cannot even update director's details I worry

Not sure if the grounds for SP nervousness are spurious. A great deal of money was made on the transactions and I think the US won't accept, " we did good DD, guv' This will rumble on. There is more to come out

Many months ago, Greg Fitzgerald caused controversy by assuming the chairman role. There was also much moaning about his remuneration package. Are his options underwater? Sounds as if a bid or Greg's head rolling might be the next news.

I wonder if you are right. Difficult to know. The FTSE 100 well down yet MKS rising. Combined with recent upgrades it seems the company have been doing some fine tuning on expectations
