Could the worst be over?

Fender, what are you thinking on SP? I see some brand 'analysts' are making comments about bruises to rep. This seems really quite unfair. No co seems immune to these attacks and it's difficult to see what more the co could have done.

If on Monday, MKS can make an RNS saying that everything is back up etc the surely there should be a relief rally. If it is unable to give that assurance then I suspect we might be in for a bit of a torrid time. I think the comms could have been handled better but at the end of the day the company was in the eye of the storm. I was looking a piece of Harvard research and was astonished at the number of big US companies who have been attacked. I think if MKS can unequivocally state that customer details are protected it would be a comfort. However, when the co comes up with cracking year end results all this will be yesterday's news

I tend to agree. There was a lot of misplaced optimism. On the other hand, this should never be an issue again.

So, if we assume that any hit will be on next year's results we hope that the company will be able to absorb the hit by organic growth?

The message is clear, Dusty the board becomes useless when it gets treated as a social media board. As for Tim I find him a bit odd

The reality is this Tim....you arouse strong feelings because many of your comments seem incoherent or, to put less politely, bonkers. Not sure what social climbing has to do with anything but I am sure you can explain. Anyway, good to see you have an ally in Dusty. I visit this site to heard cogent views on my investment by the likes of Svend. I don't use the site as sort weird chit chat forum

My idea of hell would be stuck in a train compartment with Dustyslay as he fulminated about the state of the world. I would try to leave, but the door would be locked. I would have to listen to his homespun philosophies whilst I descended into a deep depression.In the end, to save my sanity I would squeeze myself out of the window....suicide being preferable.

I wish comments would stick to RR. I don't come to the site to read tedious nonsense totally unrelated to the subject in hand.

May I make a complaint? I find Sarah Lowther quite annoying with her face pulling
