I am utterly hopeless at maths. If I had a choice between being skilled at one subject or the other it would be maths rather than English so I envy retirement having maths skills. Being an idle fellow I thought I would do a quick scan to see who amongst the Cabinet and gov ministers had ever had a proper job. For example, the business secretary, one assumes, would have been in biz but no, Mr Kyle has only ever been a charity worker. Others have only ever been low grade lawyers('uman rights) or cllrs. With this in mind we can be sure the budget will attack those of us who like investing by doing a tax hit.
