The same here mate, all I keep reading on linkedln is how they are winning awards for being the first AI agency of the year, how brilliantly they are doing at this & that. Well the share performance has been probably the worst within the index, go figure!!?
I hope that what we are looking here is the early teething problems of a company positioning themselves to capitalise on this new revolution that AI might turn out to be.
Imagine looking back in 2-3 years and this being back to the 250-300 range. I know it sounds insane at the moment but things can turnaround very quickly with good numbers and positive sentiment.
Good luck to all long term holders, I hope Monday give us a nice surprise 🤞🤞

😂😂 yes indeed.
The amount of nights having broken sleep whilst holding this as a result of misguided faith are too many to keep count.
I've managed to average down to 122 to break even but I do wonder if I will ever see my money back again.
As you say, a very very long hold now and an all or nothing attitude is what I'm trying to get my mind to accept

You say "future disappointment is priced in" I'm not so optimistic, I wouldn't be surprised to see this drop another 30% on a bad statement.
Let's hope we have some good news this time round for once though

More and more the talk is about mediamonks as opposed to S4, the new product Monk.flow and Wesley Haar have been gaining attention at CES so perhaps the new life and reset we all hope for will come by this transition we are already witnessing, any thoughts on this?
Redwine
Yes you are 100% right. In my opinion he did sound rather pessimistic though but yes I hope his forward guidance in the forthcoming trading statement is positive with clients taking their hands out of their pockets, to quote his often used phrase!
Nige
My sentiment exactly. I feel so foolish. I wonder whether this will ever recover.
There is an article in the Times today by SMS, he doesn't sound optimistic about 2024 but mentions how the big boys will get bigger. Could the case be that AI is actually working against the smaller agencies and the crumbs the big boys used to leave for agencies like S4 now are off the table as the big don't necessitate the service of the smaller as much??
I hear Meta's advertising revenues are growing again and doing very well, this would fit with my thinking.
Like you Nige, I topped up at 50p, what a fool I am 🙄
