All this talk about a takeover is laughable to be honest, the company is on its knees with nothing indicating a change of fortunes. A takeover very very unlikely whilst the instability presides!

The drop since the budget has been pretty consistent so why buy before they have stabilised?

Not just that Rock. The 40% drop from when it hit 64 recently and just before the trading update, again, indicating heavy selling due to clearly a leak and hence leaving ordinary shareholders holding the baby. All these things keep happening time after time, lack of controls & lack of forecasting = no credibility.

I admire your optimism, however, the reality is staring at you in the face. A constant and relentless decline. It's always jam tomorrow with S4. I stand by my argument to call them incompetent. Someone like Martin with all that knowledge and experience should have had an idea of what could be coming down the line and not put all the eggs in one basket. The time for excuses is over. How many more profit warnings? How many more miss guidances? A 96% decline tells you the story. I'll spell it out for you GoCpi :-/, the company is in trouble and hence the sombre mood you refer to. Maybe it's time to put the rose tinted spectacles back in the drawer.
