The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.

I think your point is well made and regardless of others ignore those who simply cannot accept a point of view said in good faith. Its tiresome when others simply attack when all they have to do is consider and then dismiss if they so wish. Clearly when there is an overwhelming majority the minority will simply be ignored and no more is this more true than in a financial setting, no one cares about a muted minority who have no power, no influence and no way of altering the course of large financial institutions.

The sad fact is that Tom and his many aliases believes in his own self importance. He's nothing more that a deranged fantasist.
NigeCo you are on fire at the moment, some brilliant comments on our resident coffee maker, however nothing will beat the comment regarding the ventriloquist and his dummy. Cleary the change in mediation for Tomtit is not working but when it generates comments like yours, its worth it.
Something seems morally wrong. Share price collapses and this morning the board including chair, CEO and others all buy sizeable amount of shares. You can look at this two ways 1) they are trying to benefit from their own failures 2) they have confidence the share price at some stage will return to its true worth. Either way for the ordinary investor who might have sold at a loss it seems wrong and yes we are the owners of our own decisions but our decisions are by and large done in good faith and the narrative given and not on the back of individual corporate failings that they then benefit from.
from tomtit.
Ladies try to stay on topic please. 'This is ITV chat. Big day tomorrow and big trades going through today'
To all, the following is worth considering given his personality traits and the perpetuation of on going comments.
How does a narcissist react when they can't control you? and you ignore them.
If you ignore a narcissist and deny them their source, they may become enraged and try even harder for your attention – especially in ways that can be toxic or abusive. Ignoring a narcissist will enrage them because of their fragile egos. They'll feel humiliated and lash out against you to protect themselves
So again ignore him, let him react and that will bring him closer to getting banned. In our hands, not his.

How is MKS that share you told us was going to fly in January? ‘Mail me to that cross’ you said….260p you bought in with 100k…….it’s now 167p haha. Has your sell order at 299.95p been filled yet? You were VERY optimistic after all :-D
I can tell you Tomtit has never owned MKS. As I previously posted he first mentioned them following a trading announcement this year where their shares soared. The pariah that he is he jumped on the bang wagon but with no substance. I was an owner of MKS at the time and involved in posts and discussions. For Tomtit all you have to ask yourself is given his manic nature and his alleged ownership of MKS why has he never posted about them? The answer is simple, another lie another reason to feel superior over others, another example of a sad and broken life.
And this is another (sorry) perpetuation of the only dominance he has in life and that is nearly all posts are about him. As said before no answer to this, just don't rise to the bait. (and yes me too)

Barclays Plc Chief Executive Officer C.S. Venkatakrishnan said any impact from the tensions between Russia and Ukraine would be limited on the bank. “From a financial point of view, our exposures are limited,” the executive, also known as Venkat, said on a call with reporters Wednesday. “We have been out of Russia for many, many years and we have exercised a lot of care and diligence on on-boardi

Tomtit says
"I get you are for the most part in pain (Anger is supersmart and only makes money) but that does not justify this cyber bullying"
poor old Tomtit did not realise his was the victim. He is of course a victim of his own stupidity, failed life, failed his family and failed to make sound financial decisions. The only thing he is good for (I presume given his experience) is making coffees for the city men he aspires to be like.
Davielad
Guys, just to wish you all the best with this. I have finally decided not to return to this board, until " toxic Tom" has eitheir been banned, or alternatively ignored by the rest of you.
Davielad is absolutely right. If you see my previous posts you will know the reasons why he is the way he is and I advised that in his sad life this board gives him influence and the ability to have to a platform to continue his fantasies. I advised the only way was to ignore and not to engage. Clearly this was difficult for many and I understand that but Davielads use of the word Toxic is spot on. He will read both of our posts and he will love it as yet again he has a reaction and he is the centre of attention. So if you want the toxicity to end then stop responding or referring to his posts. This will more than likely prompt him to do what he has done in the past and overstep the mark leading to a ban. Its in our hands.
Hi Nigeco
Janus, you claim to personally know Tom? I have no reason to doubt this. Do you think that you could have a word with one of Toms kids, if he has any, to get him the help that he needs? Failing that maybe you could spill the beans on him on here to try and shame him into stop posting on this thread? I've noticed in the past that Tom never replies to you, or disputes anything that you have revealed about his past on this thread, because of this I think that you are telling us the sad truth about Tom
The only decent thing he has done is not to deny my posts. With regard to talking to his children or ex wife that is not possible nor advisable. They have moved on and his wife's view is that his is the owner of his manic behaviour and any involvement would have a negative impact on them. Don't think there is an answer in dealing with him. Filter him and you get part messages from those replying to him, continue to reply to him and the board gets filled with nonsense. Ignoring him results in his published nonsense being left unchallenged. As previous, his behaviour will eventually get him banned again and that is the only light at the end of the tunnel. Sometimes you have to accept things aren't as we want them we should just be content in knowing that although (whether we like it or not) he has a certain amount of influence on this board, but that's it he has nothing else in life or any value.
Dear all,
with regard to Tom a few of you will remember last year I posted an overview of Tom (with knowledge) and the reasons why he hates ITV (Easy jet and a small fortune reduced ty 60%). I advised of mental health issues where it was better not to feed into his fantasy world. You only have to look at his recent posts that are way of the scale even for him and the reason for that is that every thing he has posted recently has been wrong and his natural reaction is to be more outlandish. All I can ask is that you do not fuel his issues, treat him with absolute disdain and just simply ignore him. If you look at the last 100 posts he is the subject of most (and I have been guilty too). He loves it lets all just try to ignore the buffoon.
As somebody who has properly studied ITV and who has relatives in Andorra, I can with great accuracy predict that these ITV gains today will melt away in the next week
Well Tomtit what's your answer? should be a breeze in the Park . Suspect you will simply ignore the challenge. Suspect you are scared that your life would be diminished as there would been one else to converse with?
Hey Tomtit how about a little wager.?As you know you are an irritant to most, you thrive on this and the majority (excluding your duplicate accounts) would like to see the back of you. You have said with "great accuracy" the gains will melt away in a week. What about this? if you are right then I will never post again and if you are wrong (my prediction) then you never post again. Given your expertise, connections, insight and everything else you expound then this should be a walk-in the park. How about close of play Friday week with a share price<£1.14 and my posting days are done. I will even accept the impact of the possibility of Russia going into the Ukraine. How about it or are you all bluster and b******t.
Everyone. please stop the nonsense about a bid. There is nothing to base this on at all. Lots excited about a good day however the whole market did well. Like many I believe in ITVs value and I am confident that its share will rise given time and given good results. But constant references to increased volume, ADRs, unfounded rumours are the product of fluctuating market forces with a hint of individual posters desperation. Again ITV share price will rise on its merit and true worth. Sorry If I upset the bid brigade but until something becomes substantial then such posters are wishful thinkers or individuals with an alternative motive.

'Time you two grew up, if you don't agree with something, there are ways to critique without being condescending'
I fully accept your assertion that you would never deliberate post nonsense, however I made this assessment on your posts. I identified one post of 'rumours' to make my point when I could have cited the same theme on later posts (ie 24th et al). Do not know you to assume you are stupid and absolutely no intention to be condescending. So please accept my apology but please leave the rumours where they belong.
Not one to normally criticise (apart from Tomtit the coffee maker) but you are talking deliberate nonsense. I noted your previous comment on the 19th January of
'That Netflix article is interesting. It may be a possibility but can I mention that in the last couple of days I have heard from two different sources that US giant tech company Apple have had their slide rules out on ITV. Maybe an empty rumour etc etc.
Don't know what your motive is and perhaps you think such posts would impact on price. It won't. ITV will in time achieve a price that is worthy of its value it will do this on its own merit. Sorry if I have got this wrong putsch posts are baseless.
Downward trend should be taken in the context of global trends that are all down. No idea where this will end up but yes Russia, China and local politics will all play there part, however the fundamentals of ITV means it will return to a reasonable level and that (sorry Nige) will be down to its worth and not expectation of a bid. The only losers in the short term will be those who are exposed and who have to sell, for others growth in the company and share price will eventually pay off. Hold tight it will get bumpy but keep faith.
