The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Presentation.Shabby unprofessional, uninspiring. Not representative of a company listed on stock exchange.
I had intended to buy into MTO until I saw the positive buy tip in the weekend papers. At that point I held off as I never buy when tipped as most of the times they are not genuine or they are published so people are tempted to buy. Lo and behold the announcement of 40 m shares sold with a drop in share price. Just coincidence or inside information. Either way I now look at this as a possible buy in as the company is fundamentally sound (once it approaches £1.12).
Winstanley.
“You know yourself, Tom, Janus1 was taken in by your tomfoolery”
Sorry but I have never been taken in or made any decision based on a That idiot. I sold (at the wrong time) based on negating risk and to take advantage of off setting tax liabilities. I am the owner of my own decisions and over the years I have done pretty well. I still read these posts as I can see a time when I will reinvest but not until the next update or results are published, if they are good and the share rises(I hope it does) then for me an opportunity is lost, but as we all know there is a sea of other opportunities out there. For me there too many uncertainties at the moment.
What is interesting is that Tomtit is still goading and getting reasonable posters to turn on each other. Same technique he has used for years. He lost at EasyJet, he lost here, he has nothing to invest apart from continuing to spread rumour and dissent.
As previously said good luck to genuine investors.
Published late afternoon"2 fantastic cheap shares investors should consider buying" JD was one of them. Appears to suggest medium term hold for good returns.
PSK
Keep the faith. This share will align itself with the FTSE and with no reporting or updates due for months and balanced against lots of sporting events, at worst JD will hold its current price at best it will slowly gain towards £1.50.

Am I missing something. This article is a year old?
Tomorrow’s announcement is pivotable. If the city reacts badly to any news whether good, bad or indifferent then the share will probably go sub 50p and my concern is it will then languish in a narrow zone for a long time. It is for this reason I have sold out at a loss but limited due to off setting agains capital gains for this year. Despite selling I am hopeful that the board have news that sends the share considerably higher to the benefit of you all. For me the risk is one I don’t want to take. I sincerely wish all holders good luck for tomorrow.
Winstanley,
I agree with the constant misogynist comments and negativity, but if she is on the money and the record streams are of any importance why is this not reflected in the share price. The City don’t seem to care and the share price has no impetus at all.
Oh dear Tom
Nobody minds views, comments, contrary views et al. But you have to recognise unhealthy abuse that goes on and on. Does not matter if you are right or wrong, but an obsession like yours is not the norm. You got bitten at EasyJet, you are being bitten again(like many of us) but put it in prospective we all make choices, we all make decisions that are not always favourable, but if you do what is always advised of having a balanced and diverse portfolio then losses are minimised or offset against capital gains. You are an amateur who tries to laud it over others whilst giving an impression of knowledge and wise counsel. I am minded to remind others of this (ever so often) so they don’t fall for your diatribe.
Oh dear Tom
I would say you are losing it, but the truth is you never had anything to lose. Give up with the pure hatred before it eats you away to nothing(not far to go then). Try serving yourself a specialised coffee with a double shot of something to keep you going as your demise would disappoint me, but only from an entertainment point of view.
Climbing fast on some super secret announcement
It has been fascinating, sitting back watching half this board try and tear themselves apart and who is at the centre of this, of course Tom. He deliberately throws in contentious issues that have nothing to do with the relevance of this board and unfortunately there are sufficient to respond and feed into his psych. Now ever so often he makes a predictions most are wrong and those that are right are ones where the writing was already on the wall. So "super secret announcement". Let me make a prediction, no announcements and no significant share movement. He and a few others are getting excited about movements that are tiny. Also by definition how can anything be a super secret when a halfwit like him would be aware. Let's just hope(yes aspirational and nothing to base it on) for small gradual movements that puts us all in a position to make selling /buying decisions before the next announcement. Finally Tom the trouble with earwigging in a coffee shop is you don't pick up the real story.
Anon, i really hope you are right about the SP. I am thought seriously considering selling at a loss which won't be such a bad thing as I can offset this against profits made within this financial year via tax liabilities. I do thought have a sneaking feeling (and nothing tangible to make this judgement) that the share price will stagnate then at some stage there will be more negative news that will lower the price and the stagnation will continue at a lower price. I have been a holder on numerous occasions but never a long term holder(this is the longest), this strategy has served me well with periods of profit and loss. But right here and now I can see nothing that justifies holding any longer, there are simply too many opportunities being missed in other markets. What is particular annoying is that there are many positives, production, dividends, finances etc etc but nothing seems to boost the SP. I know everything has pretty much gone down but once again not all and not by 4%. To those who bought on the downside I wish you well.
Anyway, just to change subject and perhaps more relevant to this board. Shouldn't ITV be proud of its series Mr Bates Vs the post office. Isn't this a sign of real a good quality TV production? There are a number of good productions exclusive to ITVX that can only be of benefit along with the potential of increased and sustained financial impetus. Makes them attractive in more ways than one.

You are making a presumption. You will never find a post of mine that even gives a hint of being satisfied with her performance. Life thought is not binary in that if you disagree with a view you are automatically 'in the opposing camp'. Happy for you to moan daily as this constant negatively will impact more on you than it will me. Like Tom you have lost money(your own previous posts testify to that) however just remember you are the owner of the decisions you have made, no one else.
Oh dear Tom
its all about you. You are only here because (as I have said many times and you have not disputed it) that you lost all your money as a holder in Easyjet and as you know you lost more that finances. Carolyn was the CEO then but you cannot move on- you need to. Most people are clear in their views and we get to know them but your insecurities and bitterness mean you have to post and repost. The art of tautology is clearly not lost on you.
But look you should be happier now that workers are being forced or encouraged to return to their offices in London, this surely means a busy time for you in the coffee shop and once again you can dream as you look and serve the city slickers and wish you could be part of a lifestyle that for you is simply not possible. I feel your pain.
I still feel sorry for you (as I did in the early days) as your attempts to be a dominant force, an oracle, a pivotable force comes across as an individual who is benign and damaged.
Guess what we will spar and joust as the year goes on and I will marvel at all the places you have been, the people you have met and the experiences to be divulged. Sad they are all in your head. Can I suggest you start using Bing and the copilot for accessing the artificial intelligence. This might help you respond in a witty and relevant manner.
Thank you for making my day. Happy new year.
ouch
Interesting article just publsihed by Motley Fool. Whether you believe anything it has to say it does echo many of the notions and beliefs expressed on this board. It is optimistic about the comming year and like many of us it believes the company is significantly undervalued. Given the miserable year for the share price any article like this can do no harm for the new year. Merry xmas to all.
Dear Omalley123
Something has got lost in translation. Part of what I said was" respectful of opinions expressed" that goes for your opinion as well.I would certainly not try to prevent anyone from expressing differing opinions. Where I do take exception is when it becomes personal when there is never a need. But the real point I was trying to make was that the posts I alluded to were really useful. It is then up to us an individuals to decide on their validity or worth. Sorry if I upset you, not meant.
