Tomtit, fake news? It is published this week in money week. It’s for individuals to make their own assessments as to the truth of any publications. As I have said before stick to making coffees. It’s also not gone unnoticed that nearly all your posts have a singular recommendation and that is from your other account. Only a matter of time before you get booted out again.
Sorry if this has already been posted: from Motley fool;

Analysts expect Britain’s biggest commercial broadcaster to record zero earnings growth in 2022, but the stock is still trading on a forward price-to-earnings ratio of 7.9 times, and it also has a “mighty” 5.2% dividend yield. Profit forecasts could be gradually upgraded as the year progresses, “leading to hefty share-price gains”. The advertising market has recovered strongly from the pandemic, while the company is investing in its production arm, ITV Studios, to turn it into a “global
Good to see that on fantasy island in the creative Costa coffee stockroom Tomtit is at his best. Stick to serving flat whites, leave the conspiracy theories to those who at least have imigination.
Tomtit stick to serving coffee to the city boys, that’s as close as you get to a broker. When you lost all that money on Easyjet(Carolyn being CEO) you need to remember when you purchased you were the owner of that decision, when you sold the consequences were of your own making.
Numpty - my only problem is when you try to belittle others. Now you know what its like try reflecting and stick to your sign posted articles (which I do find helpful). Hopefully Wednesday will be a good day, if so I will be 'pushing off'.

don't worry you have assessed him correctly. He spends days cutting and pasting anything that moves (and that is good) however, he gives comments on everything and nothing of substance with almost a mystic air of what is about to happen (it never does).. But, If you contradict him he shows his true colours and tries to put people down with sarcasm . His post name should be Neil numpty instead of neilhumphreys5ya. Don't let him put your off from asking questions.
it is worth considering that if the C4 merger/takeover goes ahead how will it be paid for? Most options might have a negative short term impact on share price. I Have no doubts as to the longer term benefits but how much longer can good honest ITV investors wait.

Fail to see what's decent about those trades against 4 billion shares in circulation.
Once again American dealings have little if no meaning to the London market, they are merely an allocation of shares moving from pillar to post, so I don't know ADRs are sign posted as a benign indicator .
I am hoping the forthcoming results will be positive and I am sure they will but if their only upside is increased revenue from advertising and popular reality shows then the analysts and institutions will once again shake their heads waiting for a visionary strategy going forward with no real movement on share price.
Tomtit aka Tomlondon now know as BournemouthTom - same old tune based on the predicament you find yourself in due to previous heavy losses in both financial and personal terms. You need to give up. I doubt anyone believes your so called extraordinary gains so why don't you just stick to facts and figures and not the ramblings of a bitter irrelevant person. Despite support given to you as TT you continue with your fantasy world. Just stick to coffee making.
Published today. Like others I have no faith in the board, despite them, it’s output should hopefully mean it is close to its lowest point with undoubted potential for the future.
Finally, ITV’s low P/E ratio of 8 times has also caught my eye today. Despite the threat of streaming giants like Netflix, I expect the broadcaster’s profits to soar thanks to heavy ongoing investment in video-on-demand and programme production.
neilhumphreys5ya- Read it again Janus!!!
Really don't see anything that can be packed as a profits warning. Honest assessment given of potential unknowns and lots of positives that are repeated in todays papers. I think your assessment is your typical half empty glass mentality. But don't fret as nobody cares about your assessment or mine. Tomorrows share movement will give an indication of how the company's trading statement was received.

sorry still no idea what's a mess, not sure what you mean by other note headed 7th. I presumed your comments related to the link you included with your comment. Why don't you just say what exactly the mess is.

your analysis is absolutely spot on, glass half empty, ultra cautious with the board unable to read market optics and expectations. ITV definitely has challenges ahead, but even so a much more positive projection from the board could result in a share price at least 20% higher that where it currently stands and where it deserves to be on its own merit. Really don't understand the board as I have no doubt all of then including the CEO want ITV to succeed but they seem a little out of such in their ability to raise the roof on the things they are good at whilst acknowledging in a muted but truthful way the challenges ahead.
I got out at £3.51 and missed capitolising when it hit £4.01. Only sold as I needed to fund other investments. I agree with your anticipated valuation and it should be noted the share price does fluctuate and is cyclical. Good luck with your accumulation think your confidence is well founded.
Report (see below) concerning current position with regard to advertising. What strikes me is the language and down beat impression given by Carolyn McCall - " I think". - "I hope that will last", she goes on to say she does not know what will happen in the near future or next year. Well nobody really knows but in her position she should be putting out as much (justified)positivity as possible and at least planning for the potentials of uncertainty. If this is an indication of her leadership, strategic oversight and portrayed image for ITV then she is doing the company a disservice. I am worried about where the share price is going despite being convinced it is under valued and over sold.
“There’s definitely a bounceback, and it’s very buoyant at the moment and that’s been really fantastic, but I think there is quite an element of bounceback in there and I hope that will last,” Carolyn McCall said at the Royal Television Society Convention in Cambridge on Wednesday.
She said ITV did not know how winter would pan out yet or what would happen next year.
