The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Really good article in the Sun (of all places). Extremely positive about ITVX, its target audience, innovative advertising targeting, achieving milestones ahead of predictions etc etc. Now I don’t know what has generated the article or its timing but for those who care about ITVs direction and more importantly waiting patiently for share price impetus this type of article can do no wrong.

thank you for your measured response. The real point is that we should live in a society where the question of colour , race, gender etc etc does not need to be even mentioned. It does not detract from any production that should be measured on its entertainment value and what it means to us as individuals. Am I trying to cancel the comment? well that's not possible but I feel its simply not right to allow this board (or simply not comment)where comments are made that will clearly offend and are intended to do so. There are not necessary.
funny how anyone can be so dismissive when they have not seen the programme but simply dismiss it as the portrayal of the characters who are not inline with the expectations or reality of history. woke is a creeping nightmare that is challenging and impacting on the most passive in our society, but don't use this as an excuse when the comments of "merlin is a black man" is clearly ******.
don't bother replying as this threat will be removed as inappropriate.
Look - I am respectful of posters views but every time there is a dip the long on going saga (probably based on wishful thinking) of a bid comes up. Why would anyone bid as over the last few years there have been many opportunities linked to share price, falling pound etc etc. It simply won't happen. Never say never - no no never.
Here is the first - seems to confirm current price will not move much likely to bounce between 60-70. Only time will see gradual increase (hopefully)
Barclays cuts ITV price target to 75 (80) pence - 'equal weight'

"The fallacy of believing that there were 24M shares bought! Someone had to sell them. Please.."
How can a fallacy be a fallacy when it is declared as such here and on the London Stock Exchange. It is irrelevant they were sold at some stage, the fact is TODAY they were bought for what ever reason. Please....
I think the report today and on going assessments from various news and financial outlets have captured the trials and tribulations of ITV well. There are lots of positives but all of these are being dragged down by the (acceptable) concentration regarding advertising and on going pressures that are facing ITV and many other media outlets. I think we have to accept that the current lack in growth in the economy and high inflation is having an impact and will remain as such for sometime. Who knows, perhaps the direction of the board has negated a much greater impact on the business . For me all of this indicates a share price that is its true value and I can see it bouncing between 60 to 70 for sometime to come. Hopefully the expected brokers recommendations that will be published over the next few days will be supportive, and perhaps an indication of (limited) faith is the volume of shares bought today(24m) as opposed to those sold. One thing I do agree with other posters is that ITV is a medium to long term hold if a profit is to be realised.
Interesting statement released at 15:00. quite a volume of shares sold to pay for tax and NI. Timing seems strange given tomorrow's trading update as tax liabilities not due until January 2024. Hopefully nothing to read into it negatively. Interested in others view.
Walk of shame?????
Ok one final post for you. I know you have difficultly reading situations and simply reading. But "I won't post again on this individual" means you not ITV. I would not deprive you of insightful posts. Stick you serving Costa's finest.
As ever all quoted out of context and time but ever word to stand by. if I could be bothered (I can't) I would show your contradictions and lies and even the post when you said "that's it I am done and out of here", you was, but only to appear as another Tom. All anyone has to know is that for a man to say he has bought and made profits in other companies its strange you have never posted on any of their boards, well its not really as you have nothing (financially or morally)but only the deranged hatred of the current CEO. You have been rumbled and exposed.
By the way where's the inside info that was to move the share price (positively) before end of October. Oh I know even a > amount of ********. Really pleased to see you are rattled that much you have spent Sunday afternoon scouring, cutting, pasting and fretting.
Sorry to everyone else I won't post again on this individual as I accept it is not conducive to a positive board.

don't know his other alias but you are spot on with your assessment. He is insidious and destructive. For others who think it is wrong to be critical of a poster you are right. But his impact and methods make him stand out from the rest. I will say no more about him.

ignore everything that Tom has to say, you gave him an opportunity to respond to your post and boast about his purchasing/selling strategy. He has done none of this. Just look at his contradictory posts they are full of lies and oneupmanship. The good thing is that he is clearly rattled and when this happens his boasts and claims get bigger and bigger, his put downs become personal, resulting in him getting banned yet again only to emerge as some other Tom name. For those who don't know I have known him for a long time (see older posts that he has never challenged) and I can tell you his hatred of the CEO is due to a considerable sum he lost at EasyJet when the CEO was (guess how) ITVs very own Carolyn McCall. He just cannot let go and he takes no personal responsibility for the decisions that he made. Is he wrong about her stewardship? he may well be right but it is the sheer vitriol that makes him stand out from the rest.

'Any day now Janus. I cannot imagine the Dame will last into 2024.'
Here we go another baseless rumour/wish. Still waiting for your share forecast (75p by end of October) that you said was based on inside knowledge). I think that as you have no credibility you are trying to make predictions in the hope that one will come true and the oracle of Tom will be restored. Give it up or change your name again and let the cycle begin again.
Well done Tom. Nothing like generating a rumour that has no substance, stoke the fire and then sit back and watch a conversation that is at best is groundless, at worst malicious. There is absoultely no one here who has any insight into her tenure. We can all make assessments or assumptions but again all without substance. The only time she will be under pressure is when share holders have the opportunity to object to her obscene pay package that is clearly not deserved. So, et-al, instead of wasting your energy save it for next year and use your vote and voice to object to the remuneration packages.
I really must be out of touch where numerous posters are talking of and accepting a 10% reduction in share price next week. I simply do not see that happening and I base that on having as much insight, knowledge and savvy as the doomsayers . Where's the logic in believing a 10% loss against a 2.53% dividend makes any sense or acts as an acceptable buffer. Perhaps the real reason is the hope this happens simply to justify the comment of a "a 10% fall in the sp, which would see me topping up'. Out of touch? lets see who is, next week.
I think that most of the anticipated poor news is already factored into the price. Clearly advertising will be lower but the silver lining could be studio productions. At best I am hopeful the price will remain static. I cannot see a SFOR response but who knows. For those who believe in the CEO perhaps there is a rabbit to be pulled out of the hat. if not I am hopeful she is one magician who will disappear.
