Ben Richardson, CEO at SulNOx, confident they can cost-effectively decarbonise commercial shipping. Watch the video here.
It may be relevant or not but the volume of shares sold over the past week far exceeds those bought. Looks like the share will continue its drip drip lower price. Recent publications all indicate this will not change in the near future with too many uncertainties for the future. I am in total agreement with other posts and find it incredulous that the CEO continues to take a salary that is not conducive to any form of delivery. I really feel for those who have been loyal to ITV in the hope of better times. Hopefully I am completely wrong and the board have a master plan. I doubt it.
Jed - 'statement next Thursday'.
Always seems ironic to me that everything gets voted on today including a unworthy pay-renumeration irrespective of the statement next week where more than likely there will be the normal lacklustre results. Wouldn't it be nice if the boards total pay was linked to share price. If it was, they would be owing money to ITV plc money.
Really good to see that the return of NigeCo has clearly rattled you resulting in a blunderbuss of diatribe. When this happens you normally revert to your alpha male stance. Don't be boring think of something new. Oh, and by the way, never had Easyjet? Now you know that's not true, your loss was your decision and your choice. Now moving on I don't disagree with your view of our current CEO with regard to effectiveness, forward thinking and ability to impact on share price. How ever where most posters can say this in a moderate and clear manner you have to revert to your normal vitriol, but please don't stop as the cycle of being banned and reemergence under a different new name will continue.
Nigeco, so pleased to see you back.
Tomtit
as previously stated are reverting to all your previous bad habits of ridicluring anyone who does not espouse your views. Interestingly, previously you been extremely careful to disguise your identities however the one common expression you used as TomLondon and all the other toms is 'I am the alpha male' and this week you could not resist using this same expression. So it may just be worth reporting you under this guise and get you excluded (again) on the basis of your continued behaviour based on current and previous posts. Why don't you just stick to serving coffees and continue to dream of a previous life where you had money but lost it on easy jet due to the then CEO who happens to be ITVs now. As I told you in a previous existence you keep on trying to give it the big I am but the reality is really quite sad.
It is a pity that Tomtit has reverted to his same old self. Recently he has done well in posting informative posts without attacking others. But when the tree is shaken it always reverts to its natural state.
Dan you are right with the exception of him being intelligent or articulate.
Nice to see some posts and excitement. However on the grand scheme of things this spike is nothing. Look at the volume sold to bought(even accounting for delays and broker purchase/sales)this probably accounts for a last minute jump that will more than likely be corrected on next opening.
Baldeagle
It's a conspiracy!
if you had posted this a year or so ago I would have raised my eyes to the skies. Now I am not so sure. Is it conspiracy, manipulation, positioning(for something), an inept board, market forces, post covid, war in Europe, all of these, none of these. Someone please help (joking).
"Janus a scenario for you"
Tom the art of tautology is one you have mastered.
Lets say that everything you have said in response to my original post is correct and I have nothing to dispute or doubt it. The on going debate about harvesting of personal data is a distraction to the original question that I asked you on my post - that is;-
'if all that you say is right and the potential can be realised why do the financial institutions (not) take the same view" with this being reflected in the share price?
(just noticed I missed out the crucial 'not' in my original post presume you read it as it was meant)
Interesting article in the Times, perhaps it gives a good insight into why the share price may languish. Given the results were announced and little to no share movement I cannot see the optimism of posts that claim a £1.00+ is on the horizon. I would love to see it but what is the driver?
It appears from reading all posts no one has a real clue about where the share price is heading and for the layman that's to be expected. What I do believe is that the next few days will give an indicator as to whether this share will continue to languish or(once the announcement has been fully analysed by the boffins) show momentum in going forward. Disappointing day, but who's surprised at market reaction.
Sharprite
I am a holder and I have a vested interested in this company going forward. However I am also a doubter and I see nothing wrong in that especially as it is based on a dismal share price and market sentiment that has gone on for some time. Let me tell you my latest doubt and that its- This weekend there were lots of positive reports on what is likely to be reported on Thursday. Every report I read was positive. So a reasonable expectation is that the share price would have some positive movement in anticipation of the announcement. However nothing with a slight drop today. So now I am starting to doubt what will be disclosed on Thursday or more importantly where the share price will go. Could it be the the positive reports have no substance and the news once again will be mediocre. So rather that dismiss 'doubters' why not read why they say, take it on board and dismiss it as you see fit. Like all boards there is an awful lot of rubbish but occasionally something that seems wacky or an alternative view has validity.
PS - if you read my ITV posts you will see I have (and still have) a positive view on ITV but my goodness its frustrating.
Winstanley, I takeout you did not spend time putting that ditty together. I suspect you went to chatGPT and said give me some prose that describes a fantasist going by many names but one that always include TOM and a person who would put Billy Liar to shame. Anyway its spot on.
Hi Nige
good to see you back. Same old Tom, same old theme, same old result. The only difference appears to be instead of getting booted off he states 'his work is done'. Good riddance to a habitual fantasist. However he will appear again under another guise and given his level of intelligence his new name will have, guess what Tom some where in it. The only positive is that he seems to be wishing ITV well and hopes the share price will rise alongside his 2m non existent shares.
