Averaging down can work, but its also a sign of the endowment effect which you should be wary of.

It's also very risky trying to catch the bottom of a share. It'll be a long month before the Q3 update is out, if gold keeps falling there won't be much to prop this SP up. Not sure why you'd rush to top up.

Who is a pro? I don't think anyone needs to be "talked out" of their shares, they are selling because the "jam tomorrow" story is running thin.

Gold was at all time highs over Q3 and it seems operational performance could not capitalise on it!

But it's true, we will only hear about Q1 operational performance some months after Q1 ends.

9 months is long, this share will get decimated before it recovers.

It needed to go smoothly from here to restore investor confidence, and that hasn't happened unfortunately!

Ahem. I've seen many posters on this board suggest Q3 from Kou would land at 10k ounces and Q4 at 20k.

Given a steady state of close to 30k per quarter for the first few years, 10k over Q3 is quite a bit lower and consistent with "ramp up". 1000 ounces over Q3 is poor

Why are they reiterating yan at 80-90k for the year after 52k over H1? Not very promising! Suggests 18-28k over H2

That sounds like the 1000 ounces were sold recently. I doubt Kou added much more than 1000 ounces to Q3, which is why they need another 20m loan

Not bad, but the market expects more, surely. 1000 ounces in 4 months since first gold pour is poor no matter how you spin it.

Yup, it's a lot of money and a big delay.

Since first gold pour more than 4 months ago, they've only sold 1000 ounces. I think that's a lot poorer than any of us were guessing. Incredibly slow ramp up, they are obviously experiencing operational problems.

The only me information is 20m more debt, a 6 month delay to beginning to repay debt, and things at Kou clearly not going smoothly if they're not at steady state production yet, and if they need another 20m of debt @12% to get there...

55m @ 12% = 6m extra cost

The market is not going to like this imo, it looks like further operational delivery problems
