If You ramp up was going according to plans they wouldn't need the additional debt and they wouldn't need to defer debt repayments by 6 months (from Q3 2023 to 2024).

It's the extra 20m of debt. Yes, it's preferable to an equity raise and further dilution. But it is evidence that even at all time highs for gold, they aren't making enough cash. We knew Q3 would be tight but its went beyond that - they needed more debt (amounting to over 25% of current market cap).
