RE: End of UK stock market?12 Nov 2024 08:53
@Aimless. Oh dear me...you are a doubter and a skeptic. You should take a look at my comments and look as to when I bought Prudential - the proof is in the pudding. When I purchased into Wood Group (which was down 60% in one day) at £75,000 at circa 49p (I calculated and the low and was right), and take a quick profit (I sold at the high of 60p and was right) in less than 24 hours...you say I was lucky. Sorry old chap, luck has zero to do with it. Right place, right time, and the confidence to press the buy button. You say I am a day-trader. I am a day trader when it suits, I am also an investor for the short and long term - it all depends on the investment opportunity. I researched Wood Group and saw a very easy way to make a fast buck, so took it. No brainer. Wood Group is now on .63p at the time of this post and is still under-valued. You also mentioned I am a gambler. I hate to break it to you Aimless, but every time anyone invests on the stockmarket it is a gamble. Roll the dice... As for your comment I am no longer in BAE - sorry but your crystal ball has failed once more. It's a shame we are unable to post documents on this discussion board, as I think you would be shocked to see my short and long term investments (includes BAE) and the increases since I bought and where they are today. I also predicted that Capita is headed for 16p just the other day...looks like this will happen as it's already hovering around the late 16p and early 17p mark. Now, I know I'm not right all the time on all of my investments, no one is. It seems to me Aimless that you spend a lot of time commenting on my investments and trades (and you only know my trades if/when I bother to let you know), and you even jump onto other discussion boards to comment on me and my trades there. Of course, when they do well (and they almost always do) - you simply look the other way and shrug, look down into your deep pockets and shuffle your coins about. The fact is Aimless, I have come to the conclusion that you really don't have much of a clue when it comes to investments, whether they be a day trade, short term or long term...and you are somewhat of an investor stalker. I actually think it's you who is the day trader and gambler. I doubt very much I will let you know of future investments and trades I make from now onwards, as I actually thought you were interested in Wood Group and I encouraged you to invest. However, I now realise you're a sideline-watcher who is quick with a mis-informed comment and based on your own dark fantasies.
