The project seems to have leaped a few of the expected milestones on the planned journey to any final announcement to mine.
I am now expecting the unexpected.

Most of those that hold 10m plus probably hold them in some of the nominees like Hardgreaves or in some small brokers not listed-
The MMs will hold some of the 300 odd million and even if one held them all , they are exempt from reporting. You can see now why any demand for stock has the MMs jumping on the bid-
All looking good if next news is positive as good be the turning point when MMs run out of stock to meet .new demand from those that will be holding longer term.

It will obviously move well into the 5 range over the next 10 days as the traders, who have done their research and those who follow them, look to get in under the 6p.
All in expectations that good interim news from NC will point to another re rate from Numis to X or even XX

Looks to me they have picked their timing to drill in probably late qtr 2 on expectations of further interest on the back off positive news from both Newcrest and GGP drilling

I don't know as haven't been invested here long enough to know how regular updates are from the management.

With over 3000 posts on LSE. Per your post, you should be concerned that you are not aware of how to check for frequency of RNS updates. Good luck anyway

Completely wrong. They discover tier1 gold mines every 2 weeks. Sigh!!

Just as important to their shareholders and being a potential target themselves, getting the reserves on the their balance sheet of assets increases the cost to any predators. We all know what value the market puts on just potential.

Agreed Schleimel. That would potential open the route to city spivs attempting to squeeze out ordinary shareholders.
Advance funding by way of a bond to prove up. Dry up funding to mine, coffers run dry. Negotiate new terms where bond holders take the spoils and ordinary shareholders get their penny back. No thanks

If NC do target a particular area , as per Anytigua18 post below. Under the terms of the JV is it possible the could be mining that area within the 6 year period AND before they have finished identifying the resource for the entire area of the JV agreement. Downside for NC is they may not be entitled to their 70% of course.

It’s my view based on what SB said at the update, that they could possibly be considering target a mine at the high grade intercepts if proven too be large enough. They need to start the mining process ASAP if they are to keep Telfer going.
They can then drill to determine the rest as they go. They simply don’t have the time to drill hundreds of holes.

Amongst all the noise in recent weeks I was about to ask about Paddy’s satellite results as not sure if the last few have or have not identified progress on step outs. ???

I did not hear any cries of manipulation when the SP was spiking on the back of volume sales over the buys.
You guys would make lousy market makers . Keeping an orderly market AND THAT SOMETIMES REQUIRES actions over a number of days to weed out the traders without loss to your P&L and ignoring the investors who are in for the journey. GLA

No complaints though when the sells outweighed the buys for days and SP rises.
MM s are not a charity and they have to take into account those that buy and sell or sell and buy to pocket their 10 to 20%

Let them feed till they find the bottom range.
As soon as they run out they will only have one option as the market appetite for more continues

Many buys over weeks on SP rise. Many will have bought for a quick gain. If not out yet they will lose patience sell and move on. Others will sell on a slow rise / odd spikes over coming weeks / months.
