Could also mean the 25% could be sold first at an estimated value then later the 5 at fair

You do have a vote in a takeover, you either accept the offer or dissent. If acceptances reach the specified percentage then it goes through and dissenting shareholders receive the basic offer .

Why would the largest trade of the day at the highest price of the day be a worked sell. That would infer the MMs have turned it round by giving it to buyers cheaper and a loss on their book. I don’t think they work that way

NC will IMO go for the buy out of the full 30% as
1. Advantage to them is it will be based on the then fair value of gold in the ground.
2. In the years following as it is mined the value will likely be higher than what they paid for it
3. If not bought out and some form of shared profit after all costs deducted is paid annually to GGP then there will be many PI sellers for various reasons.
If 3 does happen then the annual income from mining profits would need to be attractive enough AND other projects showing promise so as to attract IIs at that point
