In my opinion secondary to supplying Telfer is they are in a race with GGP with regards to Scally etc.
Do not think for 1 minute the city boys are not hovering around NC with ideas how to get the rest of Hav at the cheapest price. NC will make an offer for that and must at least consider a total buy out. Again, they have a responsibility to their own shareholders to get assets as cheap and fair as possible.
If they get to a position to make any offer BEFORE GGP have proved anything concrete then a fair offer, no matter what we think is the potential, will be tabled.
Any offer would see all levels of profit for all shareholders and even if not recommended by GGP Board, will let’s face it ...test the PIs

Over the last couple of weeks the combined NET figure and allowing for mis-reported trades is insignificant relative to shares in issue.

If Newcrest have got the tenements in the area on page 5 , per my previous post.
Could this mean they think there is positive Hav results right up to the boundary with the Antipa licence.

They will only let it go when there is real cause and they have to.
There is none of that at the moment, but there will be at some point.

10m is the minimum for a tier1 so that’s my starting point.
The rest is guess work and dependent basically on eventual size & remaining drill results. Oh, and all the signs so far that it could be just as big or better than nearby Telfer mine. Not much risk if any now but reward could, yes could, be beyond expectations.

I haven’t a clue what the estimate will finally be and that is part of the excitement of this share.
What I do know is Hav is going to be a tier 1 addition to Newcrest portfolio and they will not want to share it.
Sandeep talked the other night about Red Chris being on target to become a tier1 mine, that’s because he has the the results. The narrative when switching to have was just as positive without mentioning tier1. He did say to the audience that he encouraged them to look at the latest results. The hint he was giving was to compare them to Red Chris. He may be in future hinting to compare with Telfer.

As I posted recently the herd of traders came in a few weeks ago but among them were a range of buyers who bought to hold longer term.
The MMs know this and we can see this in the wide spreads that are being quoted. They keep a pool of stock and it’s getting low. That’s why a few reasonably sized buys is moving the SP.
Each piece of news and lead up to it is going to get better and better for SP as likely be less and less sellers when the mixed herd arrives.

Problem with waiting for toll processing is Newcrest May want tens of £millions as our share of mining costs. In steps the bond holders etc. Newcrest may give the option of a reasonable buy out as alternative option.

Got my suspicions!!8 rigs, looking to mine it early. Was this priced in or do these MMs know something...like a low ball offer in single digit. There is going to be more news or a twist before the next informal results.

Wide spread all morning, they do not want buyers and not many sellers around.
They are just trying to pick up shares at around this level and they too are awaiting to see what info comes out of the presentation-

If NC May choose to give some verbal additional info at the Canadian presentation when both the Aussie & Uk markets are both closed.
Always helps to keep an orderly market.

Without news on other projects I will be dissenting any offer which is just based on what we know about Hav.
Especially if we do not get to MRE stage, that would be an insult.
