Great, but still like to see this in print as cannot understand why they deliberated on results for a week then reiterated same on 30 Jan to then decide over a weekend to update so quickly unless they got their sums wrong.

Thanks Paddy, I was looking at the Newcrest reporting and how they report as a percentage. Some posts over the weekend seemed to indicate its a percentage of a Ton in weight. Did not think this could be right as the copper would be worth more than the golden stuff itself Lol

Hav, is that at some point in the process all the potential will become an asset and can be booked as such in their financials. Boost their MCAP please shareholders and makes them a tougher target for predators.

Between and on news, good or bad,
MMs rarely act as one.
One or two may drive the SP up or down with others looking to price in the opposite direction based on what they think a value should be or suit their trading / position. Just like PI traders they too can be caught out and in effect the MMs can be trading as much against each other.
Ignore fluctuations and fall backs as the only thing that matters is the updates we receive from GGP and NC then what you take from their news.

Just did a quick calculation on the numbers highlighted at the start of the Newcrest report between Hav and Red Chris ie. total mtr x total gt
For the total 172 mtr HAV averaged 9.03 gt
Red Chris over 1686 mtr average 0.76 gt
Not the big picture I know but shows how much more effort is needed to mine

You do all know it’s PERFECTLY feasible the NC update will have enough good news to keep us LTH s more than happy to wait but not spur the SP any further. If that’s the case the herd will be in a panic and the MMs will know exactly how to play it and for how long.

This figure has been banded about since last week by a few posters, and the assumption appears to be it relates to HAV.
Coincidentally this started same day the link appeared to the NC presentation which had a piece on Telfer and the 27moz in the headline. No explanation though.
For the record that figure equates to the gold resources identified over the timeline of the Telfer mine. Nothing to do with Haverion.
