The ones who think a few ultra rampers and their opposites on LSE can really move the SP in a particular direction.

Why a suspension ? Not on Fridays news, perhaps if an actual sale was being announced. The latter though would likely be just out side either end of market hours and would include enough details for the next opening SP to be around the sale price (per share).
There is bound to be price volatility from the start tomorrow as more a design by MMs to make most of their chance to stir up volume. The news is certainly positive but we should keep our feet firmly on the ground when it comes to the SP in the here and now.

I think we all know by now AA do refinancing on the same date every year. That is exactly what it was this year.

You seriously cannot expect multiples of 10p to be added to the SP o the back of this ( good as it is ) news.
The market is as likely to factor in first thing Monday the fact EUA s bank balance has shrunk by $500,000
The rest of the news is great but a long long way to go before anything progresses to be mined or licence sold.
Get real is my advice, which lots here will obviously take as being negative, rather than positive but patient.

The only time they would close before the agreed end date is if you cannot meet a margin call could be they are not taking any further bets on it though.

And apologies if this had already been brought up but was it not Normal for a company when announcing a JV to tKyle the heading on the RNS “ Binding Agreement signed with “
Particularly when following up the last RNS about moving to Binding.
More common to have “Joint Venture entered into with”
Either someone on the board has a sick sense of humour or there is an underlying message in the title, hopefully!

Thanks for that reply. I took the 44b as being 75% of what another poster under the heading Calculations had come up with the value ( 66b ) of the assets in the ground.
I know there is a much reduced value to assets when still in the ground so I can understand if the actual amount needed to actual buy with intent to mine will be much lower.
I am still more intrigued as to whether EUA needed to do this on a potential buyers ( under the sale) behalf or not.
Obviously if EUA had first dabs on this due to proximity but that lapsed and could not be passed onto a potential buyer of EUA then it indicates a sale is imminent.
I just do not know what all the rules are around this in Russia, other than it is complex.

I really thought I made genuine comments that would not to me anyway be deemed as some sort of de ramping.
You mentioned that there may be a finance deal similar to that of Sinosteel. Fair enough but the RNS states we ( I am a shareholder) have $6m in the bank, which is fine but whatever the Sinosteel financing was surely it cannot have been anywhere close to a small percentage of the 40 odd billions we need to purchase the assets.
That is why I posed the 2nd question, just a pity no one on this thread has the knowledge to answer.

The asset may be worth 66billion but in the incremental stages to the point of mining EUA will have to come up with circa 40 plus billion to buy the assets at the 25% discounted price.
That begs 2 Questions
1. Would it be possible to raise that amount of financing
2. ( and the more interesting ) If the sale of the company and its assets had been completed before todays JV would the new buyer have been in a position to entered into the same.
In fact could any entity even one not in the current sale negotiations have jumped in and done the JV ?

In response to some posters, MMs do NOT all trade flat each day. Only those who feed of the crumbs by pricing themselves out of the best bid and offer of the one or two main Market Makers.
The main ones are the guys who have the capital to dictate to the others and they are the ones who will discuss any strategy with their head trader & risk management if they want to convince them on a long or short play.
I have seen it many times in the larger banks and worked in a small one that turned over thousands of trades each day and effectively flat at end of day.

Did I say the MMs were NOT manipulating the market . I did not say they were or were not.
You based your question on one days trading . why ?
As trading strategies are not based just on one day and these are the only trades you see, not all of them.

I said they are sourcing stock at these levels they brought it down to and finding buyers.
Over the coming months as Hav news builds value they will take the stock up find sellers and buyers ( more volume- YES).
Compare that to to a starting SP of say 50p today and they would find it hard to create volume over the coming months and at 50p today the risk of carrying stock that is hard to turn round

It is pretty simple really.
1. The MMs know the actual potential of what GGP is worth,
2. They know that news will flow from NM and left field news from GGP ( good or not ) on other projects during rest of year.
3. MMs also know if they priced GGP at say 50p today they would have many sellers ,end up with stock that would be hard to shift.
4. So, looking ahead they have sourced stock ( NOT by Borrowing) but in an orderly market taken the SP down by finding sellers to meet the expected buy demand at current levels.
6. They are now in primed position as know the 2021 news flows will give them plenty headroom ( example 20 to 50p range) over the coming months where again they will find sellers at every step up ( and down ) thereby creating an orderly market in an upward trajectory.
That works much better for them and less risky IMO

They grew by acquisitions, and he was part of the board .
