Hi Tony. In reality the buildings will be leased I would think, therefore there is a financial commitment. Regards to the product it still comes back to how much income it has produced which to date which is not a lot.
Probably worth adding up the RNS,ed orders in the last 12 months and offset against potential outgoings, that should give a fair reflection of the current position until the results are published.AIMO if course.

Morning Tony . The only time I will believe anything is in an RNS confirming income. The one thing that did cross my mind which I think someone may have mentioned was how well CC are funding wise.
I procured tenders for many large contracts and on a risk matrix one of the top scores would be around how financially sound a company was as this reflected how certain it was to deliver and support their contractual obligations.
As there is little in the way of confirmation around this it remains a risk for me. Is this the reason the " pipeline" appears to be blocked? As always DYOR.
Only my thoughts and I guess a good question forJC at the forthcoming event.

Hi Tony . We are not talking about an expansion in Smets1 market,any that are in work and can be monitored, that much seems clear. I only know what I have gleaned from research and from professional experience. In my opinion there are options other than the CC offering, CC themselves have I believe confirmed they have competition.

By the way Yellow Jersey are a PR company.

Morning Tony. Snets 1 are now working and being monitored as previously discussed. Trilliant clearly have an alternative solution ( as have many other companies ) as I suggested a while back. Who will be successful remains to be seen but it is incorrect to think CC are the only company and nailed on.
The RNS this morning looks to me like CC are trying to pull in more investors.

I mentioned Trilliant and their alternative offering some time back .........someone dismissed the idea........can't be bothered to go over old stuff though.

Doubt the companies will ever be able to charge extra if you decide not to have a smart meter, the regulator would never allow it.

Just as an aside Tony. Customers do NOT have to have a meter fitted, it is their choice. With some of the bad press I wonder how many will bother. I had mine fitted to get the best deal from First Utility. Forget my thoughts here, if I'm totally honest it was a waste if time. I don't use the piece of kit indoors and it's made zero savings on my consumption. My heating is intelligently controlled which probably explains this, my electrical consumption gas been around the same for years. The only benefit I can see is I don't need to send a meter reading,that's more to the advantage to the suplier than myself.

Remember you cannot write off losses in an ISA though. Big risk is losing your money and not being able to offset the loss against any other capital gain.

DCC to quote them are saying "Teams have conducted thousands of miles of drive-by tests to prove it all works. We’re on course to have a network reaching 99.25% of premises in Britain – that’ll be more than mobile phones, digital TV or superfast broadband."
Question is does this include north and south ?

Unless it was work on the masts in the south to get the signals from the north? If the north had a fully working solution and work is being done on masts in the south why would they use a totally different solution?
