Any company who takes advantage of the furlough situation should be prevented from paying any dividend ( no chance here!) or any form of bonus / share options until the equivilent amount is paid back.

Never thought the opportunity would present itself to buy blue chips again at this level. My point was if Toff believed NU no longer existed that tells you everything you need to know.
Bought in cheap with BT and on that basis think it's a good investment, time will tell. Like you I never fall in love with a share but for me medium to long term with an unclouded view is the only way. AIMO.

No chance. The BOD will still bank their bonus , take their big salaries and share options. Wish I could get a job like that.

That's what you get when you employ someone like Tulloch . 28 years at Aviva would make you wonder why he hasn't moved on in the past. In modern times very few top people rarely stay with one company for more than 5 years before moving on or being headhunted. Speaks volumes.

The amazing thing isn't took them so long to decide the cut they were always intending. Incompetent, indecisive BOD. Had they made a decision early the potential damage would not possibly have been as bad.

Tony by grow up I assume you mean asking you a simple question? Your first response avoided answering what was a simple question, your second was a childish rant when you were pressed for and answer, usual when you do not agree with someone. Always guessed something was not right. If certain posters on here did know the facts and at best kept quiet I think they have now lost any credibility.
I take little notice of what's said on BBs but their are inexperienced investors that take things at face value.

Thanks LTI. I also believe there was a suggest he has in the last changed his user name? That would be a red flag for me. Pedantic I know but as I say I am quite forensic when looking at these things.

Dont think he unsettled anyone and certainly not me. The info he provided was quiet specific most of the time hence my question. Seems strange he's not posted anywhere since under that name. I am though somtimes quite forensic by nature.
