Hi Tony.
Have to say I take a lot of the "I heard"figures with a large pinch of salt until all the facts are on the table after the event. It's interesting to hop between the main news channels to see the different spin they all put on things, that tells me all I need to know.
Both my son's run small businesses ,have asked for no help and just got on with things, both have fortunately been in a position to work safely for 50% of the crisis but have taken a big hit. I still think the government will try and spend its way out if it though. Government do need to be very careful of those that will almost certainly take advantage of the situation. We can all look forward to lower tax free allowances, old age pensions, higher vat, higher taxes on fuel, cigs and alcohol etc etc Fortunately I have few vices except the odd bottle of red lol.
Interesting you mention TB my wife's father was in hospital at18 for nearly 18 months and lost a lung but started his own business and lived to a ripe old age. Always said how fortunate we were to have the NHS despite some of it's failings, they do a fantastic job.
One final thought , blame culture is fine but understand where and how it all started. The world should never have been put in this situation, I think people have taken their eye off the ball regarding that.
Tip of the day.....Eat more cake and drink more beer, you'll be harder to kidnap!
Stay safe everyone.
Oh AIMO of course
