Tony. It's not being clever it being sensible. I can tell you I don't get it right all of the time by a long stretch. Anyone who was half sensible over the years could easily have done what I managed. You sum up your mindset with the comment "the share price continuously falling" That is typical of your mindset. The share price has fallen and RISEN over the years. If you only got it right some of the time with the right strategy you could make money. This has in my opinion always been a good trading share if only you knew how. Incidentally I don't want you to believe anything ,I'm comfortable looking at my position, are you? AIMO DYOR.

Nothing ridiculous at all. Its fact. Unlike you I carefully judge and balance my strategy. Admittedly it takes time and an intelligence devioid of the need to believe your own hype and not fall in love with a share. That only clouds your judgement. Rather than spout rubbish based on nothing but supposition you should try it . But I will still hang on for your £1 to £2 forecast. Like I say good job your not the pension actuary on my fund lol.

Why would I bail out Tony. I'm on a free ride and had my original stake back multifold long ago and reinvested that in blue chips. What I call investing not gambling. I'm just a realist that doesn't believe all the spin. If this comes good fine if not I won't lose sleep like some on here. DYOR.

Funnily enough they were my thoughts Colour. In the past this has been generally used as a a premtive strike to excuse bad news and support "jam tomorrow"
Personally I,m not to worried as will be getting out as soon as we hit that mystical £1 to £2 lol.

What you are saying is your assumptions are based upon CC winning all of their supposed pipeline business. I will only say it's a good job you are not a pensions actuary.

Everybody knows a tender goes out for multiple responses, otherwise why tender.
The point you have missed is opportunities. Scenario: there are 10 possible, Itron is 1, so 9 more, CC is allied to 4 of these, CC does not do the bid but the add-on, 3 are the biggest manufacturers in India, India wants 'made in India', Indore did not necessarily go for the cheapest but maybe, times have changed, India wants it now or at least as early as poss.

Not sure how its overcomplicated, its factual ,accurate and a realistic point oif view from my perspective. It seems a bit rich based on some of the drivel and "forward looking statements" from some on here . Tony. They have a selection of "tenenders " as you put it........different companies. Had you been involved in any form or any type of commercial contract negotiations you would kmow this. They would go through Pre qualification, Invitation to Tender, Evaluation Process amongst other stages. CC are no doubt in with a chance the same as many other companies. Just dont keep suggesting they are nailed on. India will want whatever solution is CHEAPEST, thats always been the case.
In my experience many larger companies will be happy to sell the initial contract at a loss to realise profit down the line, sometimes you need deep pockets, something CC haven't got. At this stage thats the main risk as I see it. Unlike many on here I feel my position in CC allows me to have a reasonably open view of things. AIMO DYOR.

Perhaps Tilly , ref my 0911 post . Perhaps you can clear up any confusion and post a link or expand on your suggestion? Like Tony I believe Itron bought someone to progress their own solution as I think I posted at the time. Not sure how long youve been involved with CC , it was a while back so you may gave missed it. Itron aquired a few companies around the same time to offer a wider range of services. This was one.

Think you are correct Tony, I believe I mentioned it at the time. It was way back so I could be wrong. It therefore begs the question why Tilly thinks we could be dealing with Itron . Maybe it was just a mistake or i have misunderstood his/ rationale.
That is why everyonec should always DYOR or at least check the facts themselves. Tilly perhaps you could expand further on your thoughts? Stay safe everyone.

Anyone not understanding that very basic facts is not an investor but a gambler......or mug punter as they say in racing circles. AIMO DYOR.

In my opinion anyone who hasn't traded this over a long period to get to their current position are either a) massively underwater ,b) have tried to average down over the last 6 months when the share price was around 2p c) bought in recently and hoping at some point this takes off.
The clever ones will be the long term holders who have traded this and taken their original stake off the table plus some profits and left themselves with a reasonable holding as a play. Not sure why you insist on continually using Ceres as a comparison, its like comparing eggs with apples, I could tell you hundreds of companies as a negatuve comparison.
Incidentally how long have you been invested in CC? If you have traded and played this correctly you will ,lije one or two on here ,have a nice zero risk shareholding in the bottom draw that may well produce a bonus. AIMO DYOR
