Not in my experience. I am an Aviva customer and compared to all other platforms I have investments Aviva are way behind. This is probably due to the fact that they no doubt still have legacy systems from all the mergers and takeovers though the years. The amount of times I've tried to do things on line I've lost count of.
On a positive the slimming down if the company and concentration on the markets they understand will in my view push the share price on. If Aviva invest heavily in IT , particularly with the new homeworking there could be significant savings on office space. AIMO DYOR.

Cant say I agree they should go that far Spikey lol. The problem wuth Aviva is that its always been run by accountants. All come in with their own agenda, generally that benefits them. Aviva also seems to struggle winning Bulk Purchase Annuity business compared with LGEN for example. Mark Wilson's push around IT didnt seem to have any impact around their IT systems in my experience as a customer. Unfortunately Aviva always seem behind the curve with all they do. Im hoping AB. can change that.

Have to say I agree Spikey. It is worth considering though all that has been achieved so far is selling off business units and now about to go on a round of cost cutting. This has been the theme for most of the recent CEOs.
The real proof will be what she does with the cash moving forward,I for one dont think a special dividend will do the share price any good. Its easy to realise cash by selling parts of the company and cutting staff, the real skill is what she does with the excess cash. That said I am more than comfortable with my investment here.

Anyone would think staff share options are about to appear lol
