100 % agree nuri. The outcome for shareholders is if your very kucky your no worse off but mostly you lose out. If you are outside of an isa have have to pay tax that's another kick in the wotsits!

While personally remaining pretty neutral about AB (any CEO can sell businesses to increase capital) it remains to be seen how AV performs in the medium to long term. No doubt most of the current board will have taken their few years of performance bonuses and moved on. Whether or not AB gets it right or not the most galling thing, for me is yet again the new CEO has taken EXACTLY the opposite tack to their predecessor, thats at least three CEOs. It would be an interesting excercise to see how much shareholders cash has been wasted over the period.
If cash is to be returned to shareholders, remember,similar to dividends it will be reflected in the share price. Unless there is significant improvement prior to and after the return of cash shareholders gennerally tend to lose out.
I will feel more comfortable when AB discloses her plan for growth, if she has one. AIMO of course.

Good move in my view. Hoysehold gas supplies will have all but disappeared in the near fut in my view. Electric boikers are becoming far more efficient and cgeaper to run.

Amazing what people find to bleat about. You are offered a job with a specific salary and benefits. If they change and it is not to your liking move on to an employer thats offering better. Reading the comments if those that are whining there's plenty of the ither telcoms providers offering better terms. The only other assumption is either these companies dont offer a better deal or the applicant doesn't feel confident theycoukd fulfil the role. Many times I followed theageold advice.....change your attitude or...........change your job.

A special divi will reduce the share price on ex Divi day by a simi6 amount just like a normal Divi.

Hi Benrith .Just hope they dont return cash to shareholders, normally reduces the shareprice by the amount taken out of the company so shareholders are st best no worse off. Would rather they invest the cash to grow the company or share buy back. As long as they dont make a ball5 up of it like Mark Wilson.
