You are spot on they don't give a toss about PIs, we are just an itch on their ar5es. I saw through JC years ago and acted accordingly. I'm comfortable with my lot but disappointed that it could have been much,much more. What pi55es me off most of all is those clowns that least deserve it will reap the rewards.

I really feel for those sucked in here in recent times who are no doubt now sitting on big losses. Let's just say I have always been and remain a great believer in karma. One day you're the shark ....the next day you're the prey.

Or the deal has fallen through....... Classic signs with the SP movement. Those that "know" have taken their little bit of profit .

Maybe the deal is off Harley. Selling for a small profit before buying back in? Or are we really in the deep stuff due to JC and Peacoks balls up?

As long as JC and the BODs can justify why there last couple of updates to trading statements which painted a very rosy picture to shareholders moving forward they will be fine. If they try and throw out the line we couldn't continue due to ???? It won't wash. They cannot have it both ways. Due diligence, fiduciary duty, misleading statements could potentially come to bite them firmly on the rear cheeks. I agree with you there is a drama being played out.

The RNS for the loan in May 2025 states

"Conversion is at the election of the Lender but subject to mutual agreement with the Company regarding the conversion price and the entity or entities into which it may convert. Any conversion into CyanConnode equity shall not result in a breach of Rule 9 of the UK Takeover Code"

That one statement interest me.....mutual agreement.....we could tell them to do one and plod on. The rule 9 takeover code would also apply.

"UK Takeover Panel has extended the “put up or shut up” deadline to 5 p.m. on 31 March 2026 for Esyasoft to either make a formal offer or walk away."

So we should all know the outcome on.......April Fools day......just saying.

I've said numerous times this has been a lifestyle company for the few . In my opinion JC is near to retirement and this is his payoff, they care nothing about PIs.

Quite selfishly I will be quite happy with 10p from a profit perspective but pi55ed off knowing it could be a lot more. That being said from a moral perspective I will vote against any proposal for the sake of those PIs caught in this at a significant loss.

Remember JCs tweet in March 2024?......"With Advanced Metering Infrastructure Service Providers (AMISPs) vying for contracts, a concerning trend towards prioritizing lower upfront costs over quality and long-term reliability has surfaced. "

The SP fell around 25% after that tweet. Now it may be some took the co ment out of context. The fact remains why didn't our CEO counter the tweet with an explanation to explain his comments? That is what I believed was incompetence.

You waste your time ITT. The naivety from some is astounding.

EE. bid or not it clearly says the BOD will recommend acceptance, they've set their required minimum price, it's not difficult.

If you were ES and someone said the above........would you go back and say 50p? They offered 9p CC said on yer bike but if you offer 10p we will recommend.

Morning ITT , Was just about to respond to Emprtyend but you beat me to it. I ve spent a few days looking through the various RNS,s and am dropping the Takeover Panel a line this morning for starters.

Emptyend, in simple terms,if you see something advertised at £100 ,you phone the person and suggest you'll pay x amount and the person agrees that price ,that's it. Perhaps you could explain why you believe that's not the case?

It makes you wonder why they are recommending acceptance of the bid. JC has been consistently bigging the company up. If CC are now in the deep brown stuff and the board thinks it the only option left you would have to ask why. One would expect an experienced CEO and accountant between them to be able to give accurate forecasts.

The Trading update less than 5 months ago painted a very positive picture moving forward

"We have completed a strong first half and have entered H2 FY2026 in a solid position. The Indian Government's commitment to nationwide smart metering remains undiminished, as seen in the increased activity across our 17 projects. With continued momentum in India and steady international progress, we remain confident in the Group's growth trajectory."

So what is it........The above statement was ....Misleading?…........Wrong due to Incompetence? .......or ..... Correct and we are potentially giving the Company away for a song?

Someone best have some answers if this is looked into as you cannot have it both ways.

Incidentally I'm still not convinced there is more to come from this potential debacle but let's see.

Morning Tony. I have always been a great believer in Karma. It often takes a while to come about but come about it will.

Many people invest on the assumption everything's being done for their benefit when in reality it's rarely the case. Peopke with the highest level of control will always look after their own interests first. It's why they hold the top positions,from business to politics. You just need to understand their gameplay and act accordingly. This can sometimes take a long time,human nature being what it is , PIs generally don't like change and are always scared of missing out on the "multibagger" , hence they get pulled along .

I've said in the past....."never fall in love with a share"....it clouds your judgement as I've found to my cost with some of my very early investments . The positive is it taught me a valuable lesson no amount of books or research could have done.

If there has been anything dodgy going on here, in these days of technology it should be easy to trace. Once things for certain,once something's written down it's there for all to see........that's of course if they wish to........or its in the "too difficult to deal with box"

Incidentally notice the SP has dropped back to the level based upon the original offer? .........Trouble at Mill ?? ......I would have thought with the some alledgedly feathering their own nest the price would have held accordingly........maybe there is a sting in the scorpions tail........

What date did the SP start to drop and be seemingly held at around the 7p to 9p level?

When did CC suddenly get financial support from one of our partners?

When did the company suddenly go quiet with updates? (Not that they ever were much good on this side)

When will we hear something from our esteemed leader?

I said a long time ago ,like you, you need to recognise the game being played here and manage this share accordingly. Although not as large as I would have liked (it never is 😁 ) I've made some reasonable money here trading. and have the bonus of a profit on the shares.

I will be interested to see how the main supporter of the crew LTI spins this ,or if indeed we ever hear from him. Unfortunately yourself ITT and myself were some of the few lone voices of sense here and were at times mocked. Rember I said ages ago this was a lifestyle company for the BOD andwould go private? ........to all intents a purpises it has.

My condolences to those sucked in here by all the hype and bull5hit and we should spare a thought for them. I have to agree with ITT , this does need looking into,but they won't. You pays your money and makes your choice. The pantomime curtain has come down .

I have always seen this as a lifestyle company for the few, smaller PIs are an inconvenience. Remember he had you believing at one point CC were worth 50p ,£1 even £5. Too many have believed in JCs hype and will ,sadly, probably pay the price.

My guess if it goes through is somewhere around 14p , if it doesn't it will slip back to around 6p until a very significant order arrives and CC can finance it.i good indicator of it progressing will be if an extension is granted, CC have the final call if it accepted. That's the only card CC hold in my opinion.

Regards your comment on the other side. The takeover panel under the updated UK Takeover Code the bidder can ask for an extension to the deadline, but is generally only granted if requested by the board of the target company.

I think on that basis, should an extension be requested, it will give a definite indication of the BODs thoughts and intentions.

If you doubt the competence of the BOD just cast your minds back to March 2024 and our esteemed leaders tweet and the SP dropping by a quick 25%.

You really think this lot are capable of any sort of negotiating skills?

I trust those with control have crossed the Ts and dotted the Is and are acting in the best interest of shareholders. Not that I believe the regulators are any more competent.
