Wylie & others: I have read somewhere that one of the possible side effect of taking Interferon may be loss or reduced sense of smell & or taste. But I would like confirmation from any medically knowledgeable posters here.
The reason I ask (and if it relates to Interferon b) is as follows:
If it is a side effect, you will be able to determine if the patients on any of the trials were on SNG001 or placebo. This could give us / others an indication relative to their recovery.
PH was always going to sell more of his shares anyway. I know traders don`t like to see a large share holders sell , but we all have to sell at some age or time. So I am using this opportunity to buy a few more since I see this easily reaching the mid 1700`s shortly.
Re: Chris Witty & Boris . I have looked at the data (to date) on "Tocilizumab" and agree its sketchy. So why would C. Witty mention it , indicating it shows promise ?? He must know that further trials show greater promise. If so; All good in my opinion and still space for SNG to enter market.
Sorry forgot to post the link in my last message. Please let me know if you find any further up date on Tocilizumab since BOJ was lugging it yesterday. https://www.bmj.com/content/372/bmj.n84
Tocilizumab (BOJ`s favorite word). Just found the link below on results from BMJ published very recently (20 Jan 2021). Certainly does not paint a pretty picture. Apologies if this drug has been discussed before, but strange how much emphasis C. Witty & BOJ placed on it. C. Witty initially almost wispered the word until BOJ picked up on it and pursued him for a repeated pronounciation. There must be more trials and I wonder what stage they are in.
Anyone here aware of any further trials on Tocilizumab. After BOJ`s performance last night , I would not be surprized if we were 10% down.
Is BOJ allowed to platently plug a product in that way on national TV ?
99 Treble: Many thanks for that, I will look up Tocilizoumab which Johnson was so obviously plugging at yesterdays up date. I
am also intrigued why he was so deliberate about it. Surely he would know what he was doing. In which case it must have been
an innocent exchange.
Can someone please confirm the name of the product / therapy that Boris was so obviously pushing / plugging.at yesterdays up date. He seemed to get Chris Witty to repeat the name 2 / 3 times whilst he tried to pronounce it.
Apologies if this has already been covered.
Thanks
Everton222: I could`nt agree more. But human nature is such that it wants to see results.... NOW. And I suppose that is why you will have sellers when they see a 10-20% price increase without studying the company / product. I & perhaps others are getting very interested in the product (since its quite educational) and to be honest my priority with this share is no longer profit based. I just want it to succeed, even if it saves one life. I am now emotionally attached to SNG (not recommended) but will eventually sell ..... one day. Could someone please put me on that party list which was circulating a few months ago.
Thanks.
Bradsmith; Yes seems the SP held up quite well after dividend, but I noticed quite a lot of sell`s at the end of today , so perhaps some have taken the divi and sold. Never mind, we all have sell at some stage.
Bearing in mind the high volatility and uncertainty in the past year in almost all other shares, I think HL have done exceptionally well as shown in their results which you have highlighted. They are the most stable investment I have and since I am a customer of theirs and spend money with them, I thought why not invest in a business that I know and understand. So bar any really bad news (eg. Money laundering, due diligence, bad advice, miss management, etc etc,) I see a very rosy future for HL and will try to resist selling for anything below the £20 mark.
