Oiltrd.. Sounds an interesting view. My question would be: Is that not called insider trading ?

Seems to have closed at 1.48 which despite the severe swings today is an improvement on yesterdays close.

Do ITM always advise shareholders (via RNS) or any NEW orders ?

Does anyone know if this is their policy.

Yes I think it occurred on the 18th at 1.0 which looks right since I was also selling at 0.981

SPUDERS was the winner of todays prediction which closed at 73.4

Spuders had guessed 72p which I have a suspicion was developed as a result of my RR. guess of 10.72 last week !! but only he can tell if this may be correct ?? Either way congratulations Spuders... although I must say the win was not achieved through stiff competition since "He was the only participant" !! So no matter what the SP would have closed, Spuders would have won.

However... I wish to lay a partial claim to his win.. you see it s just too much of a coincidence that I had mentioned the 10.72 RR which had generated a win for me initially and I suspect that even if he was not aware of observing the number 72, it may have been embedded in his brain causing an unaware selection. I`m sure under these circumstances Spuders and I can reach an amicable agreement to share the win.. say settle for 20 /80 instead of resorting to legal action..... :) :)

I will be keeping a close eye on tomorrows finish since Spuders also guessed a close SP of 74 P.. Mmmmm I have my suspicions on that number too.

So all in all its good that he was the only competitor since I could not have analysed every ones predictions.

Got my results today... no A`s but certainly certifiable which I`m hoping will get me into the right institution....for a while.

Big day for all here .. tomorrow, whether we are invested positively or negatively and very few are making any predictions. The concensus seems to be that there may be substantial orders coming ITM`s way over the next year or two.."Maybe". It certainly has been a long time coming. You are welcome to place your predictions here for a bit of entertainment for the SP closing on Thursday and perhaps more importantly for closing on Friday the 15th.

Personally I feel I should refrain since I made a recent prediction for RR. and happened to be spot !! on at (10.72) but perhaps RR. was a lot easier.. but it was a pure guess based on a car model !. So... please do submit your predictions for:

Well...... I have surpassed all expectations of myself this time by guessing the SP closure yesterday at 10.72.

For those of you curious as to how I chose the numbers, I have provided an explanation below.

But firstly, many thanks to PEAKDRED for organizing and managing this bit of light entertainment and those who partook.

Like many of you.. I`m a numbers man and without going into too much detail also have an interest in cars. A close relative has a Mercedes SL. So I took SL inverted the letters and viewed the mirror image.... are you still with me ..?. The inverted mirror image reads 72. I could have gone for 972 but like many of you felt that RR are on a roll and since it was my relatives 1st classic car I used 01 and inverted / mirror image which produced 10 , which led to the final choice 10.72. Not very scientific, I know..

Following the above long winded explanation you must be hoping I do not win the next competition for the end of year closing SP..... well so do I .. but the trouble is superstition has already set in and all kinds of numbers are floating around in my brain. Also I don`t want to be labled as some type of good luck charm or mascot since my choice was a pure guess.. nothing more, but based on a few select numbers.

For those of you who have had good fortune and wish to assist please do consider a donation to the following organization of which I am the founder:

To all; Below is a repeat request (first posted on 18th July). Please note that I notice the use of rude and disrespectful language continues amongst some of us leading to disruption of this board due to repeated accusations / motivations.

I hope my repetition of the message below is taken in good faith and not considered "crowding" of the board with irrelevant / out of date / repeated messaging. Bear in mind that we are here as investors.. to enlarge our stake... some have compared share investment by us individuals as similar activity to going to the casino. We ARE gambling..and thus if you felt the odds of wining by betting negatively would be rewarding, then the majority of all of us would place bets in accordance with that belief and perhaps side line our partial ethical beliefs at that time by convincing ourselves that it may be justified in a particular event (Shorting) since the magnification of ones financial wealth is a great motivator. Please re- read my initial message below:

I have been reading the HEATED exchanges between several of you on this board and would like to make the following observations:

You / we all have a view and reach conclusions which we are free to voice on this board. Ones motivations are of course unknown. Obviously we will never all agree with each other and that is a completely natural.

Your research and gathering of detailed information for presentation here is always much appreciated (weather flawed or not). It makes interesting reading and assists in us building the bigger picture for our investments. Weather one is a mole planted here to influence us negatively or have alterior motives is immaterial ... since its up to us as adults to decide. Of course no one is perfect and we all make slight errors .

This battle of "who is right & who is wrong" is very healthy since it provides quite detailed information.. so "ladies & gentlemen.. carry on please" but may I make one suggestion: "That we respect each others views PEACEFULLY " from this point onwards and try to eliminate any rude unnecessary & unsavory comments. This message does not require capitulation by any party.. just a silent self motivation to present ideas PEACEFULLY. And please remember the following translation of a poem by Omar Khayam:

"The moving finger writes

and having writ, moves on

Nor all thy piety nor wit

I`m just wondering if the lack of Director Deals , in particular "buys" may indicate anything. It seems any substantial "buys" occurred quite a considerable time ago. Am I right in believing that a Director should not deal in their shares if they are in possession of sensitive knowledge (positive or negative) ??

If so, then the "silence" in Director Deals may be an indicator , and I`m hoping its a positive "indicator".

Perhaps those of you with more in-depth knowledge of the workings of "Director Deals" can assist us with your views / info. on this . ?

Also : it this a tool used by analysts ?
