Monkey.. yes I also indicated it could have something to do with our partnership with Gazprom (rosenaft ?). So if there were sanctions placed on Russia generally, I suppose it may barr PFC from doing any business there and since every little order now counts, the market perseeves it as a negative. Oh well out of the frying pan (SFO) and into the fire (Sanctions).. just my sucking luck. (pardon my French)

Yes, thanks Mikee for the link to the Patent. It certainly made a good couple of hours "read". The "Documents" section summarizes where we are since it shows the "Status" & "Opinion" of the searching authority and requires more info & clarification from SNG before they can consider granting a Patent.
My general thoughts are with regard to the existence of "Prior art" & an "Inventive step" and these have to be determined by the WIPO. In addition one of my main concerns is how the Patent application ties the product in with "breathlessness"
which can raise many questions regarding the legality of a competitor applying the product (INFb) to a patient who is NOT breathless !! The reason for this is that I had also envisaged the SGN product being applied (eventually in future) also as a possible preventive measure against COVID /SARS type outbreaks via a hand held inhaler. .. This would have been a new development of the product in the years to come.
Of course a Patent is not a key to success and is sometimes not even required if the product is a specialised and in a niche market however I guess in the case of SNG with massive global competition a Patent is an absolute must.
Lets hope it is granted.

P.S Baby "Air, Jen" still in the oven and due 18th Feb !!!!

Back in October PFC announced the partnership with Gazprom. Regarding recent events of Russia indicating it wishes to bring Ukraine back into the fold I do wonder if PFC will now suffer due to its connections with Gazprom. I know Europe needs Russian energy but wonder what your thoughts are on the effect on PFC. ?

Slight variations to todays discussions: We now have a firm date for the arrival of our baby (We have chosen her names as "Air & "Jen" which is as close to Synairgen as I could get without raising any suspicions) and I am pleased to finally release the arrival date which is: 18th Feb. with a tolerance of + /- 2-3 days. I`m hoping this date is a message from the Gods so make of it what you hope & wish for but please DYOR & usual caviats.

I hope we do all meet up one day. Perhaps we do not even need to make a massive amount of money to do so and should simply set the date in say June to give us something wonderful to look forward to.
I know that miss understanding and disagreement can easily occur on these message boards but we all have to always consider every ones view no matter how outlandish it may appear.
I am reminded of a translation of a poem buy Omar Khayam as follows:
"The moving finger writes
and having write, moves on
Nor all thy piety nor wit

Happy new years to all on this board. AXE, you have compiled a great list for the Rainbow Party and I would certainly like to attend, so could I possibly ask you to please add me to the list. I may even bring the Mrs and our new baby who we are naming "AIr, Jen" (whose birth is imminent). They will drop me off at the party and pick me up latter but I could arrange a viewing of baby "Air, Jen" in the car park for those who may be interested. ...say.. £9.90 per person to view her ? and all can be donated to a charity or NHS etc.

Please count me in too since althoughs Quetta`s losses are minute compared to mine ( I was buying in the good old days at Approx £17.. but still here) I do feel for Quetta`s losses and want to help since his/her experience here seems to have had a psychological effect which is not fair and we must all try to help him / her in any way we can to "save the NHS". So I`m also in but please keep it Quett`s !! Help is on its way Quetta.... don`t panic we will contact you in due course.
