George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
Bradsmith: Thanks for the link showing major shareholders
Brad: Hope you sorted out the visibility of your posts. I have had similar problems before.
Seems the SP is gradually building for tomorrows Interim Ex. Divi date. I was hoping the SP would have been hovering nearer the 1750P mark by now. I wonder if most share holders in HL are institutions with a very small % held by private investors. Does anyone here know how to find out ?
Hear this warning on the early morning news. Seems some people with COVID are resorting to Steam Inhalation !! So perhaps people are coming round to the idea of Inhaling drugs which should help the SNG product.
Fruitsnveg: Thanks for letting us know about the presentation. I did watch it . Each professor talked about their own speciality and mainly about vaccines and their experience. I did present questions about inhaled therapies (not mentioning SNG) but it was off topic so they did not answear, but they did entertain one other (non -SNG) question.
BUT: as I already said at the end of the event presentation a Pink / Red banner (sign / alert) came up right at the end ( It was live, I could not rewind) and I`m sure it was related to SNG type product but I missed it. I will ask them to send me the link for the recording and if they do, I will post it here. Thanks for the assistance.
Just finished watching the event presentation at Southampton University on COVID vaccine etc etc.. BUT right at the end (last 20 seconds) a Pink banner came up that said something about "inhaled treatment" or something like that.. and faded away after 2-3 seconds. I only got a glimpse of it. Please advise if anyone else saw it and how do we access the presentation again ?
Thanks

If we all band together and rent a small office in Oxford and offer it free of charge for some admin work to SNG so it could be classed as their head office we might suddenly see a ten fold (or higher) return on our investment. Possible ? Anyone here want to act as treasurer to collect our donations.?
Volunters please.
I could not decide on what to do with this Special Divi since am holding in Sipp , Isa and other accounts and would have to buy back in with the Spevial Divi funds and pay the stamp duty etc.
So I decided to do the difficult thing and Sell. After all "buying is easy and selling is the difficult part". So Right or Wrong , I have bailed out today and wait for an opportunity to buy back in since I am very positive and keen on TSCO and think it has a good future.
P.S: I will from time to time still look into this chat board to read all your comments.
Good luck to all.

Yes, it seems he went to Barbados in December while every one else was supposed to be aware of the risks. Why in God`s name were airlines even operating and taking people on holidays ? Just because its "allowed" does not mean the virus has receded.
Captain Tom is a national treasure and should have been protected as best as possible. Surely if he really wanted to visit Barbados we could have arranged it via a private jet and isolated accomodation instead of risking his health. I`m flabergasted.
Can someone enlighten me please. Did i hear something on the news that indicated that Capt. Tom had recently returned from a trip to the Bahama`s or Antiga ?? Is this correct ? If it is: Surely you would not even consider the risk. !
Bradsmith: Yes the projected dividend intention sounds good with this solid company.
Bit of a drop today but that is probably due to investors taking profit and also perhaps a bit of SP manipulation by Shorters so they can buy in at lower price before it starts to rise.
I`m happy holding my HL shares since its one of the safer (lower risky) investments in these turbulent times.
I have also set a limit sale on all my HL shares at a price of 2400p so that the Shorters cannot borrow them. If everyone did this, it would deny Shorters access to more shares.
I see the SP easily reaching the 1800 p mark shortly.
Y11-shx: Yes its a good idea for all share holders to set a limit sale for a long period on all their shares and deny shorters from borrowing them. This was mentioned several years ago.
All my shares are always on a sale limit order. Thanks for the reminder to all others.
I`m surprized the sp has not risen to at least the 1800p mark by now since I estimate HL`s profits
for the interim period should be at an all time high ! ... Just my thoughts.
Only a few more hours left before market closes.
As I have said before, TSCO should have defined it as exactly what it is, namely "Capital Return" and not Dividend. This would have avoided any tax implications.
Also don`t forget there is also an additional "stamp duty" tax to pay when you buy back shares with your dividend of 0.5%.
So this "deal" seems to get better and better by the minute (sarc).... and we are paying additional taxes for no reason at all.
