To Spicy and the rest of you. Firstly lets face it, we are faceless and without identity here... All of us. So, anyone of us can be a Shorter, LTH, dreamer , fantasist or addicted to seeing our words in print, including ME. Worst of all its quite possible that a few of us might even be an AI identity !!!! yes, quite possible and very difficult to tell.
However, we seem to share one thing in common: To increase our personal wealth, whether that is by investing in long term, daily trading or even shorting and until any of these methods is classified as illegal, we are free to do so.
There is at present constant bickering (if I may use this word without causing offence) between several posters / parties
or should I say exchange of heated messages.. I think that`s a better description.
What you are doing is completely natural since as humans we wish to impose our view above any others.. we are naturally biased towards what we think, say or write but we are not physical identities here and thus can easily revert to inflamatory language / accusations and near rude language / gestures right on the limits of what LSE will consider allowable. No one besides LSE is monitoring us and thus some of us respond differently believing that our response will overpower / dominate / shut up others of a different view / belief. Well, unfortunatly it will not work since we are not face to face.
A perfect example of this is particularly SpicyTuna where there are a number of posters trying their best to discredit his views. (apologies Spicy for using you as a classic example I hope you understand).
None of us has a crystal ball, if any of us thought we could effect an SP (legally) to move upwards or downwards where we would benefit (financially) and that it blended with our moral / ethical / religious beliefs, believe me, we would not hesitate to initiate that effect.
I am a LTH in ITM and have been for many years ( true / untrue ? see what I mean ? ) my aim in this instance is a higher SP
but if I knew I could make a healthy profit by shorting or collaborating with MM`s would I proceed ? Probably .. Yes and I am certain some of you would also... correct ? I`m not talking about destroying a company (e.g PFC) but riding the peaks and troughs of the rolling waves.
Finally i must say, I admire Spicy....never in all the years here have I witnessed someone who fights his corner so well and responds to every accusation against him accurately . preciesley and admirably. One who is by far more knowledgeable than most here (including myself). Yes, he is perhaps playing devils advocate, but in this unknown situation we need a balanced view, we need everyone`s view on the subject to assist us in building the bigger picture. We should not be trying to convert Spicytuna... we have to encourage his thoughts and investigative mind. I can tell you one thing: from what I see, Spicy is relentless : "And nor all thy tears shall wash away a word of his"
