I've wondered about that and now that everyone's interests are/should be the same should he really need that much of a stake? I think the SP may drift a bit with the persistent small sells of impatience. As nice as they'd be you are right on TR-1s - if you are stake building you don't want everyone else to buy on hype stock that you are trying to buy so you may be inclined to delay telling the market...

Shell is valued at whatever those doing the RTO value it at. That'll also determine how much of the asset is put to market in the listing too. Given you hardly ever post why bother posting here... The shell in Singapore was 28million fwiw

Not wrong but I think there will be people in two camps. Looking at what may come, not all will rush to sell and it's possible that with the RTO risk being taken out of the equation that others may then look to buy. Like with oilers, many don't buy now until results given recent history. Here, many won't buy in until the offers on the table and a plan for the firm is to go ahead. Everyone will have a different investment strategy and certainly, given how tight stock is held, they will need people like us with near significant holdings to sell that stock to them.
