Like what eog have been doing. It is rare to see a board cut their own salaries. First port of call on aim is normally a fund raise and dilution and so it is heartening to see this. Given at the moment others are doing the heavy lifting at wressle sensible they have not replaced either the ceo or director of finance. With wressle up and running and money in the bank they will be able then to move forward. Fingers crossed and good luck to all. SP has to rise from here surely

Looks like rhodi played a blinder. We will track down I would imagine to low 60s - only hope is that 200 million is a huge fund raise and for that money due diligence would have been done in spades so this will come good if final trial goes well and it should. Although new team have taken a chunk of vrp they do look a strong team who will take us through to a deal so glad they are on-board.

There is clearly not going to be a great deal done in the short terms so I am in favour of reducing cost where possible so the FDs resignation is a bit of a gift horse. Let the oil flow from wressle, repair and improve financials and take things from there. Some good assets still very much in play and this so is absurd

Very sad to see you go Rhodi after all this times and for sure we will meet up - hopefully those on your post - maybe late autumn for a pint or three in London

After losing a lot of money on aim shares that have driven their failing companies forward expensively leading to massive dilution and loss of shareholders money I think the chairman has got this right. This is not a time for anymore grand schemes and expensive vision but a time to consolidate and see wrestle through. Personally I agree with not replacing the ceo for the moment on cost grounds and reduction of salaries by 20% is something others should follow. Keep costs to a minimum, get wrestle up and running and start making some profit.
So just my view but well done to the chairman/interim ceo

Yep it has been a long long association with this company and you, be wise and digger and more recently furher have been the only good thing to come out of this - C2 was a class act. Yes a drink maybe at next year’s AGM is long overdue
ATB - preying for a miracle - the salaries have been absurd for a small chronically underfunded and massively diluted company - either partner in the offing or it was the only way they could convince anyone to take the helm

Should have followed your lead Rhodi and got out. Learnt a brutal lesson here - got carried away after attending AGMs and listening to CP and MW, buying all the way to 17p old money, a total idiot. Many promises from seemingly straight, honest and talented people who knew the drug backwards and also the connection to Jacks - this latest nose in the trough exercise is beyond belief, on a scale that shows the company is both desperate and worthless. I think in hindsight JAKs and others never using their own money or if they did tiny purchases should have been the clarion call to get out - I would though turn up to another AGM, do more 'research' and then double down - really no different to walking into corals and have had to do the same thing not retire and work hard to re-build savings. It does feel like a con - VRP should have brought this to an end some time ago - if it is ever successful old timers' holdings will be so diluted as to be worthless. It has for some time now been clear the drug is not the wonder drug we were told it was. Hope F'r is right. Anyway been a great board

I think tomorrow will be like every other update - more information on success of trial and unique product with a plan, subject to COVID, going forward around FCA and future trials . I bet there will be nothing other then 'in discussions' re a partnership but more worryingly, with shareholders approving potential future dilution at the recent AGM (my votes used to be significant but now totally insignificant given the dilution that has already taken place), I would not bet against a further massive further dilution. Boy do I hope I am wrong but it may be the only way for VRP to survive but for what future if no pharma is willing to partner or invest in us. Rhodi, I so hope your gut feel is right - take care all

Yes - many years of significant remuneration and you get to walk away leaving those you were representing with next to nothing. Need to look up new leadership but Chester is right - so much build up to their 400 patient results and we are where we were before the announcement - only a partner will save this but they will get their stake ‘cheap’ if one comes in.

Here, here - huge promises made year’s ago and the period of his stewardship destroyed lth’s investment in this company. It is a lesson in naive trust and investing I could have done without. Fact yours is the only entry here illustrates the sheer indifference to this company. Partnership or this share will be diluted for us LTHs to next to nothing in terms of value. Perhaps though the drug will at least help long term sufferers with respiratory problems - that would at least be something.

In many a year and the so is where it was before it came out. Either PIs panicking when it started to turn down or those who are really in the know, big pharmaceuticals do not rate the drug - may be clinically significant but relative to what? What other drugs are in development and what do they promise, is it so clinically significant that there is clear light between it and what already exists. Or are the markets reacting to a few necessarily cautious words in the press call? SP tends to reflect the truth - not sure I am in to all this so manipulation conspiracy stuff - on occasion yes but rare and in exceptional circs

Yes, one missing line from the rns - ‘we are in discussions with a partner or partners re funding P3’. Those of us who are LTHs have been through this many times - super trial results but continued sp decline (save for one trial many years ago that sadly I took at face value and went all in on the back of). The real arbiters over whether this is commercially viable are large pharmaceuticals - should they fail to put their hands deep into their pockets this Share which is less then 2p old money will be diluted horribly. It was a great rns yesterday and the conference call positive so I personally believe there will be a deal of some kind with ‘big pharma’
