agree Rhodi - was reading somenif the RNS’s from 2008 which read exactly like the ones we get now - all about the next study leading to possible licensing to big pharma etck - ten years ago. I would take £3 but that is 6p in old money - totally shocking. Can’t work this drug out - supposed to be novel, unique etc but in all this time, after all the published science no deal and sp a tenth of what it was - a disaster. Anyway merry xmas to you and others who have been imprisoned in this share for so many years.

I love your relentless optimism - as existing shareholders I guess that is the only way to be. Tell you what though if I ever get a diagnoses of a terminal illness I will come to you for a second opinion

As LTHs know I have been invested in this share for a bery long time and no one wants it to succeed more then me. I do worry though the company will not succeed. we have had successful trial after successful trial - the data is there to be seen and even our ex cmo is at GSK - even she who knows RPL backwards has not encouraged a move for this groundbreaking drug. We have only hung on to our CEO who I do think is pretty good due to an outrageous salary. Only way we have raised money is through bargain basement prices which has diluted the original sp value to virtually nothing. I pray there is something going on in the background. I will hold to the bitter end - emotionally attached - wrong I know. Anyway maybe Jan’s trial results will throw up something to interest big phara. wish you all great good luck

I do wander if vrp made any effort to buy rights to rpl554 - if it is the potential blockbuster drug they believe it could be then why not buy licensing payment rights back given the cheap price company is being sold for - 6.2p a share

We have been in this miserable share a long time and tragically (for me) it still remains my one significant holding. It has been years and years of promising results dating back to when the sp was 8/9 times higher, odd that all that progress has led to share dilution and erosion. AIM shares are largely for gamblers I know that but I got dragged in to this share mainly due to the credibility of those running the company and after doing dd and attending AGMs. Something is not right here - consistent trial success yet we just as consistently lose sp value ( the real arbiter of a company’s performance and potential) and also of most concen to me CMOs (who would move on from a business about to launch a stunning new medicine). All Pharmas in any area must start their board meetings by reviewing competitive products but yet despite all the data we are yet to have a Pharma partner - is rpl 554 differentiated enough??? The one the thing that gives me any scope for hope is that having seen and heard our ceo in action he seems bright, straightforward and a man of integrity albeit a richly rewarded one. I am sorry to bore you all - this note takes this board no further. I do wish you all well and am desperatly keen that one day we are able to have that ‘success’ get together. GL to you all

SP recovering - wander if improved copd outlook for this drug has something to do with VRPs sp drop?

Little death spiral on nasdaq yesterday. Makes no sense better the trial results lower the sp - is this drug differntiated enough in the market place - I surely hope so but big Pharma is hardly queuing to snap it up and we are good at losing are cmos despite the opp to lead on this wander drug Anyway I have no choice but to hope this eventually gets to market - a leason in investment my young self could have done with learning. Pointless - range resources had a similar group - check out the sp chart Such groups have zero leverage over companies. Do you really think that an action group will have any influence over the board given what has gone before. I appreciate it feels better to be something but this is a waste of time, energy and worst of all, hope. Aim is a pure gamble

To see you still posting here Rhodi - we both grow old waiting for a deal. They probably had little choice as by the time they get to final trial they will have little money left and therefore would be in a weak position re any commercialisation discussions. The ability to raise money would strengthen their hand. Weird thing is many years ago mw and cp at an agm we�re visibly diassapointed at 8p sp pre dilution morning of agm - I would love it if they got back to 4p in old money. It has been a horrible experience.

Is so much behind the scenes manipulation by mms you never know the true story. Normally if you get a big buyer like this the sp would go up but not if there is an equally big or bigger seller in the background - you see the entry at the end of the day when the one big buy has encouraged others to buy. Only my opinion - hopefully this won’t happen today and we will see the sp go up as the day unfolds

The ointment is that as more and more data comes to light those who intend to buy in closer to end game could miss a take out offer something they have always said they are open the potential game changer for me was the improvement in symptoms although not yet understood Anyway remain a long long term holder! I have held for a long time and swung between wild optimism and desperate pessimism. Having read the RNS and listened In to the call yesterday this is the first time in a very long time that I have felt optimistic about RPL future. The board are clearly confident and the results yesterday were fantastic especially in relation to ROL’s potency and alleviation of symptoms (especially positive for this drug). Think we are finally on the last stretch - good luck to all investors, the board and future patients. Worth talking to VER?

Stupidly went way to deep in this many years ago as you know and am vexed with the choice at what makes me happier - at best if JAK had not taken the reins would we exist now, probably not (hence the signifant package) and the thought that my hard earned money has at least created some joy re trips to New York etc! I live in hope this time it is for real

we have been here before many, many times I am hoping the next trial results will be decisive - certainly will be if poor! If the results are strong and given the size and nature of the trial with significant funds still in the bank, VRP will not be desperate for a suitor to take things further so with a strong negotiating position any potential partner would have to pay heavily. Take on board Rhodi's good point about Vernalis but either way next results just a hop and a skip away

Interesting and excellent post Rhodi, I do so hope you are wrong but you could well be right. Results late and delay often means bad news. Big six months coming up although that has always seemed to be this case with this company. Good health to you too and other lths
