Most oil companies are basing future SPs at $68s - see partner EOG’s presentation of tonight. Plenty of money to be made at this level if it turns out to be accurate - and god knows given are increasingly unstable world how accurate any prediction can be. In my view only of course can’t see this is a problem

That clause would be a standard clause in any such agreement to protect shareholders should there be an unexpected bid - hope this clause does anticipate a bid obviously but I am not reading too much into it

I also have a large TERN holding and am hugely disappointed by this latest move and unless AS sets out clearly why he is doing this then I also will vote no for the first time. I have been hosed numerous times in AIM shares where the CEOs are older and although much more successful then most of us clearly feel they have not done as well as they should have in life and decide to use scarce funds to build an empire when they should be concentrating on their best existing assets. Was just starting to do well again and then this bolt from the blue. AS comes across well when presenting and so I hope as a LTH he sets out clearly why they are doing this in the coming days

Lost my shirt on this share and so loathe to be too positive but it still has so much going for it. Need to get new ceo in place and sort financing and I am sure the long road back will begin

Yes disappointing reaction which ai would guess will remain the case until new ceo is appointed and funding secured hopefully non dilutive
Great products and nicely positioned with some of course already being marketed - this will recover but may be some time off in my view.

Yes I absolutely agree - high oil prices some great assets and wressle producing, a period of calm and so appreciation is long overdue and especially given world events this is terribly timed - damn

Have had spectacular recent gains and hopefully will find out soon what has been driving them other then global events and prove of oil - my guess is Morocco too - should Ireland happen which in any sensible world it will then hold on to your hats. Nothing goes up every day and I hope today is simply some inevitable profit taking. Each to their own but I am not selling

It certainly does - no way would UJO make this bold announcement which is attributed to wressle success if a poor CPR was on the way - it is an excellent indicator of good news to come in my opinion only

Sorry - yes well put - fundamentals likely to be improving but with smaller holders selling leading to further selling it has a disproportionate effect on the sp. Just need to brave it out

Yea totally right. The sp makes little sense - seems like smaller investors loosing confidence in quick buck - news needed or as you say directors buying spree - update was good…. Odd

I agree with you, he has steadied the EOG ship after a series of poor CEOs who oversaw SP destruction. During the pandemic salaries were cut, conservative approach taken with a steady hand on the tiller (let's face it he did not exactly have a full hand to play with) - we are only now beginning to see the benefit of his stewardship. Wressel, Ireland and morocco - this sp will not return to where it was (subject to oil price) - in fact, I cannot for the life me understand why it isn't at at least 3p now with more to come but I rate our CEO very much

I did not say the investee companies did not have income coming in only the mother ship TERN itself but unless you know something that I don't they are not handing that income over to TERN - that income is paying investees staff and investing in their growth - please correct me if I am indeed wrong - but I do agree that the investees themselves are going great guns and of course are beginning to bring in income. As Rhodi makes clear this is an exceptional opportunity but of course that is only my view
