Clear RNS - We will have results at 5am and alarm clock to be set - I very much believe it will be good news - would be non sensical to have made the recent investments they have and heavy allocation of share options otherwise. On aim though nothing surprises but all the best in particular to long suffering long term holders especially Rhodi, digger and bewise. Shame C2 not with us to hopefully enjoy this key moment - I guess either way!

Yep HNY once again to you all - if you are rewarded for loyalty (possibility naivety too!) then the SP is in for a significant rise. Best to you all - been almost a bloody decade

Thanks you two, especially interesting re shorts - Rhodi - you put your finger on it - so much said, so much excitement so little delivery on so. Yes we would have done really well years ago (and as an asthmatic would have had a new therapy!) but no as you say even if it got to £5s would not even get in your words ‘my hard earned back’. Long trip this - we’ll know soon but can’t be confident at under 1p old money. Good to see old timers on this and some no doubt departed like confusion 2 - let’s have some good luck and a merry Xmas to all LTHs and believers in this company

I as ever agree with rhodi - some of my shares are worth 10% of what I bought them at after assurances made at AGMs, research etc from people I took the trouble to evaluate BUT unless this is a well disguised fraud which it clearly isn’t, there must surely be a reason why people with the boards pedigree have given up so much of their lives/career to see this drug through to stage 3bother then stuffing shareholders (and why would chairman buy shares). So whilst no matter what happens I have lost a chunk of my savings on vrp, I remain hopeful that this will deliver ‘something’ - clearly imminent results are critical. I may be wrong but board seem well motivated - at worse have they been become tunnel vision re rpl554 - we will know soon enough - wish the board good luck in these final key months as do I to all LTHs

My goodness you are right digger in terms of the time we have spent waiting - lucky you, me Rhodi and others invested in our early teens or we would never have got to the end of this particular book - all the best

Rhoda like one or two of us here invested many, many years ago. He is not playing games - he like me is just desperately disappointed that this company has done nothing but make grandiose promises - my one big gamble because I believed In the directors and their promises (as scientists with impeccable backgrounds why wouldn’t you) and Sir David Jack but unlike rhodi did not sell my holding. Rhodi is just reacting honestly

Well I sure hope you are right - long way back and tanking again the US - the few times this share has surged we have had an immediate e-mail from the board saying no reason for rise - never has that happened at any point in VRPs long spiral downwards

New appointments have seen sp drop below $5s on NASDAQ for the first time. Risking going under 1p old money - tragic
So much promise and so many positive board pronouncements - Jan probably saved us from going out of business when the old guard left but that might have been kinder to us LTHs . Have to live in hope - won’t be long now either way

is right - everything has been said that can be said the only thing that has changed is the value of my investment - reduced in value by five sixths - so difficult. The rest results, conferences, ... is just groundhog day - never seems to impact the SP. So absolutely right just waiting for VRP to write the final chapter and I hope it is a meaningful one.

big investment banks/houses have squadrons of highly trained bio med graduates who spend their lives looking into pharmas and potential new drugs so that they can get a jump on the market. I an a fool for believing many years ago when the sp was over ten times higher that even at that stage we had a wonder drug on our hands not to mention that vrp would develop other novel respiratory drugs. The sp is now one fifteenth of what it was but if there is one thing I have learned at huge expense is not to trust what anyone says in terms of potential - it is at 1p old money because with all studies published that is what the market has valued it at. No one wants or needs VRP to come good more then me but we will be in business as long as shareholder money can prop up the inflated salaries of those working at the company. It might well be true that without JK we’d be bust now but perhaps that might have been better then this slow death rattle. Sir David Jacks must be turning in his grave. AIM is shares national lottery some will be lucky most not. Good people on this board - hope all are well and enjoying sun shine

At some point before this is all over I would love to share a pint with you, digger and bewise. I am working way beyond when I intended due to this investment. I made the decision to invest, put too much into VRP because I had done my research, attended AGMs and rated those I heard from but I have learnt painfully that AIM is pure gambling - really trusted this company but as you say salaries and benefits of those who we now entrust to get it right are absurd. Been here a long, long time - beer overdue

is very true - I think about 1.8p in old money. foolishly reacted to previous rns’s and spin and should have relied on sp and lack of deals and cmos resigning. Same quandry ... will probably hold for a miracle

me too - lost a fortune too - a lesson learnt but sadly late in life. It is hard to make sense of this rns. should they close up and share out remaining cash or does ‘unprecendented’ mean there remains room for hope - very disappointed to say the least. Yes interesting post - odd when you ring in for the con call on the great results you hear analysts commenting on the great trial results and progress being made but SP goes no where - means big pharma not interested - results have been strong but I suspect drug is not differentiated enough in the market place. To be fair to JAK the previous board although strong scientists wasted a lot of time, energy and money without really scoping out what made RPL so special big pharma would come in... I suspect if it had not been for JAK we might not exist. He does come across as highly professional and committed although why the massive salary in a start-up if he feels it will be successful (could go for share options instead, freeing up capital). Anyway let's hope latest trial does yield something that sets this drug truly apart. Tired of waiting though, at least you had the sense unlike me to get out - anyway all the best and HNY to all holders

the rare as hens’ teeth occasions we have had significant price rises we have wuickly following a note from the board indicating their lack of understanding as to how that has happened but when a decline of this scale, nothing. Just hope study results have not leaked although even if they prove to be stonking we will probably see a 5p rise - a mere fraction of the value of this share in old money
