OK Petch why do you think they have not started recruiting MSLs.
I have given my reasons based on my thoughts only.I may be right or may be wrong but I would back my insight and knowledge against yours.
As always not asking anyone else to accept what any of us says as gospel and apart from trying to predict the SP which I admit to failing miserably at and the badly handled US raise my confidence in the journey of Iclaprim through all,these stages has been vindicated and I have been here since April 2015

Agree that SCLP are not likely to move into the phase 3 development stage certainly not on its own.The “later stage drug development” is stuck in my mind as something RG said as marking a distinct change SCLP strategy but was from several years ago and like yourself I considered it did not mean beyond late p2

RR Agree just because big pharma has not made a deal so far does not mean they are not very interested.I totally support the SCLP move to a later stage drug development Company to realise the incredible potential value here.
It is the progress towards this aim which some are questioning.
Think it was CH who said First you need great science then you need external validation before you get a Great Deal.
Well I think we have the first 2 elements but need to progress the trials to gain the irrefutable evidence to confirm the science is great and it is those delays and whether SCLP can juggle all the balls that is leading to the current position imo

So if they are not recruiting MSLs which they have always stated they intend to in 2018 and unless they are running out of time then ask why.
They have enough money and there is a need to promote Iclaprim to the target audience so if they were going to commercialise themselves they would have started by now and they can’t wait until Approval decision before deciding to recruit or not so imo they are very confident of some type of deal.

ODR yes there is reduced posting there which is a pity but I still look there every day as there are some very good posters there.
Although I love the banter on this board if you are busy away it can take an awful lot of catching up here on occasions and miss the nuggets whereas on there you can get a good idea of anything new pretty quick kly

Are you intending to go?
In the past RG has said one of great things about SCLP AGMs is the number of PIs who attend and that shows the interest in what the Company is doing and how they have traveled on the journey with SCLP.
Many AGMs are just rubber stamping exercises with only a few PIs who turn up whereas I genuinely feel that SCLP meetings are a bit of a litmus test for where we stand.
I know we felt the same when we talked a few years ago and again reiterate the BOD can’t unless they release news affect sentiment going into the meeting but can certainly affect it during the meeting.
I support your thoughts that any question on science or commercials should be allowed to be asked by any individual if they wish to have it answered.
Obviously if they ask price sensitive questions do not expect an answer but again and this is my personal opinion only if someone does ask a question on future funding and it will not be me as I have no immediate concerns then how they answer it may well effect sentiment.
To me there is a difference between the BOD skilfully replying that they acknowledge the concern and appreciate the question and will consider a number of options closer to the time as opposed to a blank refusal to discuss the matter.
The outcome may be the same that the questioner may not have gained much more insight but they probably feel a little more happy if they feel the response has been duly considered.
Of course whether individuals are happy with any response depends totally on them specifically and whether they trust the BOD etc( again my personal view is I am not happy with the delay and radio silence but want to give them the benefit of the doubt at this stage).
Anyway my last comment on the matter until Tuesday and this reply is mainly to zKrafty

In my experience real experts show humility.Only pretend experts seek to score points in a meaningless way by looking at minutiae when they understand the point.

Not sure either as if anyone goes to any AGM or SH meeting or a Proactive Presentation etc then I personally like all feedback but we all have to interpret ourselves but that is why recordings are good as people not there get a true reflection of what was said.
Part of you being unable to read my posts maybe due to the fact that I will post alternative views based on what may happen.Much of what happens at an AGM cannot always be predicted so to try and pretend anyone knows what will happen is pointless.I simply post the options as I see them depending on what may conspire not what will happen.
So if anyone selectively chooses a part of my post to prove I am pessimistic can probably find equally a part of my post claiming I am optimistic.This can be done to suit ones agenda.
I don’t claim to have an agenda simply to use any opportunity to obtain as much knowledge and insight into my considerable investment here to enable me to make better decisions moving forward.
Thanks for reposting my earlier effort and wish you had been there in 2015 and if you recall me and many otherss( think I spoke to Krafty there) and we both agreed we were so positive going into the meeting but it turned out otherwise.
Again for the record I remember asking two questions one about potential application in Veterinary Use and one about the ability of SCUB 1 to act against 2ndary tumours which Lindy happily answered both.
There were questions asked about funding but not by me but it was readily apparent the mood changed dramatically.
For next Tuesday the mood going in seems more sombre but I expect a good response from the BOD but as I said earlier none of us can be sure until the event happens.
As I said Last year the discreet security was not required but they were expecting a rough ride.We will have to wait to see what 2918 brings

To be crystal clear I will attend and ask what questions I consider of benefit in helping me decide whether to buy/hold/sell and would expect any other attendee to do the same.
I may ask no questions if I feel they have covered my points of interest in the presentation or in answering other people’s questions.
Then people can judge if I am a troublemaker or just an ordinary PI interested in gaining as much insight to protect my investment here.
However if I am quiet it will be because I am content and nothing to do any reason that Inanaco May come up with

Since my original post you have posted 13 times whereas if you actually took the trouble to read and understand it you may have saved some things me as it is obviously an important thing in your life in not wanting to spend 6 hours going to the AGM.
I deliberately said about the BOD not being able to mention anything material( or price sensitive) as I know you have a bee in your bonnet about what you think can be genuinely asked of the BOD but of course you fall into the usual trap of thinking you are the only person who can offer an opinion on this so highlight me as being delusional.
As Boom says I am not naive enough to ask a question that they cannot answer or would of course they would be
skilful enough to respond accordingly.
You must have been the only person at the 2015 AGM who did not sense the change of atmosphere in the room with the way DE handled events including gagging RG who wanted to intervene at one stage.
I would like to ask questions like can you give a more detailed account of the precise nature of what the FDA requires the the delay in the Combo trial
Can CH say anything more about what he meant by the early monetisation comment he initiated in a previous interview.
There are others of a non price sensitive nature but of course perhaps I should just e mail a list to you and let you answer them all as you seem to have appointed yourself as the judge and jury of what can or cannot be asked.
How am I a troublemaker.The only person I argue with is you and you argue with anyone that takes an alternative view to view and that seems a very big list.So what is the common denominator.Me or you.

How come you only have one question for the BOD to ask at the AGM and I don’t believe for one word the reason you give of wanting to save the petrol money to buy more shares.I would have thought anyone who is currently as much underwater as you here would want to gain a better understanding of why the SP has fallen so much and what the BOD have planned for the future.
Of course the BOD represent all shareholders but equally they have a responsibility to keep SH informed of progress and the AGM is the one opportunity we have to hold them to account and you want to deny SH that basic right.
Hoping for tea and biscuits and a positive meeting which again I will say is what I expect.
It is my opinion and no one else’s so people can accept or dismiss it but I consider my posts are on the whole balanced something which you never seeem to understand.
I don’t subscribe to the way many of the points are made on ADVFN but your overwhelming desire to be subservient to anything the BOD does and think they are beyond reproach is extremely naive and I suspect at odds with the majority of SH who probably want a few answers to yes non price sensitive wuestions
