MM drops sp by over 10% on sales of 5mil shares!! Another 1 million for me at .23p today. Excellent value share with solid assets in quoted investments. Not ramping just acting on my conviction.

We should all look through MM's attempts to balance book. Good buying opportunity IMV. Added another 1.8 million in last couple of days. Try buying rather than moaning if you believe in Co,s assets.

@Frankie. Slight delay in response to your post [I go to the gym every morning] and Bannor beat me to it. As was stated I simply rang one of my brokers and asked them to do the sale and purchase to ISA. There is only one dealing fee on this transaction. No prices can be quoted in advance as it is up to the broker to negotiate with the MM in that share. I was however pleased with the small "turn" [less than �30] made by the MM in this instance. My past experience of on line dealings in this share is that spreads are often narrower than initial quotes. p.s. I am male by the way.

@mrcautious, That is part of the attraction. I have always been a contrarian investor and coupled with present NAV kdnc also fits my "value" criteria. I am happy to wait for market sentiment to change. Do not think I will have to wait too long here, with a number of interesting developments pending, any of which could change market perception IMV.

@gfb258 Quite correct, my 6m sale and repurchase in ISA, turned out to be reasonable margin of less than �30 mm turn for approx �14k consideration. Was going to buy direct in ISA account but creating loss for 2018/9 tax year for less than �40 total cost was a no brainer. Sorry to give you palpitations but I do intend to add to my 45 million holding.

@Bannor May I refer you to post from Trader50 of 17/2/18 which stated " Provincial Government agreed to accelerate the issuance of license expected in next several months" At the Master Investor presentation last month I was assured by CEO that we are still on track with this timetable. Although frustrating the delay is out of the hands of Cadence. We are ready to move forward when we have necessary permission.

Just dropped in to this bb to look at recent comments, having visited Business Design Centre, and listened to Mark Child's presentation. Tone was positive, indication that plan B permit was favourably received by Gov sources due to changes e.g. no resettlement and processing plant move. I am not a shareholder nor have I been but was impressed enough to keep this share on my further research list. Thought you might like to have an unbiased opinion.

bsposi: notice you have been less than 2 weeks on this discussion site. Not sure where your assessment of company prospects comes from. Brexit will favour company with majority of earnings outside UK. Niche market, sound management, very positive recent update,many new contracts YTD, major shareholder increasing stake significantly in last few months. Throw in takeover possibilities and I will stick my neck out and say we will see a higher SP at end Sept.

Agree with Sage, this is not Wonga mark 2. Good experienced management and long term institutional support. Could be a large seller [2.4m] has been accommodated today. Hope so as my policy of adding purchases to average down looks a little premature to date. Still relaxed for long term outlook and very happy to hold.

Well thats a turn up for the book! End of November EBITA materially below expectations; ,mid January in line with market expectations for 2015! Pleased I added to my substantial holding and did not sell. But nevertheless an embarrassing episode for CEO and not impressive to any potential institutional investors. If I had not been a shareholder for many years and was just looking at this company for a new holding I would be nervous. I hope the management have learnt a valuable lesson in timing for market announcements.

I am with you here, quote 101.50 to 103 topped up last week with purchase at 101.57! Must be good medium term spec -- assuming board can find a suitable purchase.

I believe [unless anyone can correct me ] that Elloitts also hold a CFD giving them beneficial interest of just short of 30%. I have not seen any RNS to say this holding has been reduced. As I have stated before look up CV of Elliotts they are vultures not songbirds The end game IMO is for Elliotts to take over assets and pay a nominal price for shares when co has run out of working capital. I have not held shares in this company for over 18 months.

Last posting by me was 8th Aug when I said I would not post again until Dec. Well I just made it but I cannot in all honesty say that SP performance has matched my expectation. However large overhang of shares on offer (from Blackrock) appears to have been completed----although it is impossible to be quite certain----which accounts for moderate rise in SP of late. Results to 31st Dec will be good and with continuing support from Panmure Gordon and Hargreaves Hale Unit Trusts a floor has been established. Expect more contract announcements and good prelims towards end Jan. I would not be at all surprised to see a good rise in SP in first half of 2015 to give us all a happy New Year.

See my post of 24th Sept [and previous] this is exactly what was on the agenda from Elliott since they took a large equity stake couple of years ago ---in my view. The loan to company [secured on new mine] and sustantial CFD taken only confirms to me that the outcome will be nil value for shareholders,of which I am no longer one. Seems to me co will soon run out of cash and then the end game is inevitable.

As I have said on previous posts Elliott --in my view-- are waiting to convert their loan to equity thus gaining a controlling stake and take the company private to realise their investment. There was also a sustantial [15% of equity if I remember correctly] CFD a few months ago? this looks like it is still in place unless someone can tell us otherwise. Elliotts are vultures not songbirds! The SP has clearly been "encouraged" on a downward path for many months. Sorry to be negative Lofty & co.

Just bought another 19k for family. Blackrock still disposing of holding but have seen fairly good buying of late. Suggest we may see end of line of stock on offer soon. As ever do your own research, but my view is for good increase in SP by year end. Will not post again until Dec when I hope I can say "told you so!"

Agreed BRY is undervalued. SP has been kept down by Blackrock disposal of holding--they appear to want to liquidate this holding completely---which baffles me a little. Still pushing out sales of 10/20k when mm will take any. I have been investing in equities since 1959! and this stock ticks all boxes as far as I am concerned. Started with first purchase about 10 years ago and steadily increased since. Have attended AGMs and met all directors [who all hold shares themselves] and been impressed by their integrity and emphasis on long term organic growth. Sooner or later, in view of niche market for software product ,bigger fish will bid for company IMO. Definately a company with good future prospects.

Management announcements have been quite bullish of late but SP has been held down by decision of Blackrock to substantially reduce their holding. Over last few months many millions have been sold thus affecting SP. Have added to my substantial holding again today as in my view selling is at last abating. In any event this company has first class management and a niche market. Very happy to continue to hold.

Thanks clogheen for your post--definately bullish! SP has been held back by Blackrock selling [although I am puzzled why they would want to] and when they decide to cease this stock will surely rise. If any Investment managers read these posts now is the time to buy whilst a decent size holding can be purchased--and cum div too!

Blackrock have been reducing their holding for many months and continue to do so. Not a particularly inspired decision in my view. I have been investing in Brady for many years buying regularly from 40p upwards! Excellent management, niche market, no borrowings, steady organic growth. I expect eventually this company will come in to the radar of a predator. Having met directors and employees at AGMs I consider my sustantial holding is in safe hands. Maybe management stlye is too solid/stable for Blackrock?
