Have used AI to do a simple re-run the Dundas PFS numbers from 2019 (incl ~29% inflation UK CPI) and updated spot price of $350/tonne. Results say nearly $400m net profit over the 9 year mine life... Still amazes me that nothing has ever been done with it and especially since ilmenite is on both the US and EU critical minerals list... with the EU actively going round giving low cost funding to such projects....
* Adjusted CapEx: $245,000,000 * 1.29 = $316,050,000
* Adjusted Annual Revenue (based on 440,000 tonnes/year): $440,000 \text{ tonnes} * $350/\text{tonne} = $154,000,000
* Adjusted Total Revenue (9 years): $154,000,000 * 9 = $1,386,000,000
* Inflated Original Total OpEx: $765,620,000 * 1.29 = $987,955,800
* Adjusted Net Profit (approximate, 9 years): $1,386,000,000 (Adjusted Revenue) - $987,955,800 (Inflated OpEx) = $398,044,200
