I would have to say that many of the legacy systems have already been replaced. The last few years have seen massive investment in replacement systems. I believe that the M&S issue was caused by human error rather than an IT failure.

I have just been kicked back to the early to mid 1960s. I do vaguely remember the theatre at the end of the pier. I think I remember my parents saying that Cilla Black and Des O'Connor were there. I may be wrong on that, memory plays tricks after sixty years. I think I remember the theatre then becoming an arcade. It was either Brighton or Southend pier that had a train running the lrngth of it. Other than that, J P Jenkins is a perfectly good platform to trade on. Not as liquid but it can be done.

They are two very different businesses. Originally, I thought it was one business but clearly it wasn't. At first I was disappointed with not being part of Polyswarm but Narf has the best longer term prospects.

No, my understanding of NARF product line, and I maybe wrong on this, and this is what NARF used to do but they changed focus. The US government department that use responsible for infrastructure is the one the NARF is not in. I may well be wrong on this so DYOR.

PS. And you are correct. NARF are creating a library of reusable code for the very reason you mention.

The people NARF employs are worth their weight in gold. They are as rare as hens' teeth. SB explains this in the video. Anyone of the employees can walk away tomorrow and get a higher paid job. These are hugely skilled people and, for them, it is the challenge and not the pay that keeps them engaged.

This is an industry sector that I know and just about grasp the complexities at a high level. They say you should invest in things that you understand so I am comfortable here. On a more light hearted note, going back in time, before people knew what anti virus software was, I did a presentation to explain how it could prevent your system from "catching viruses". In one hand, I held a box with Norton AV and explained that this would protect your software. In the other hand I held a box of condoms and explained that his would protect your hardware. The audience cracked up :-)

Major cyber attacks are an almost weekly occurrence be it attacks on pipelines, other infrastructure, banks, hospitals etc. I would still like NARF to get some of their focus back onto protecting infrastructure such as sub stations.

The web site is so much better than the original which was like a comic book with doodles as imagery. This is a grown up site. I wrote to SB a couple of times complaining of the site but haven't visited it for some time.

Whilst, in a normal universe, I would expect more contracts, I am more concerned with NARF going in the opposite direction. Musk's DOGE has gone through DARPA and other defence related departments like a rash. The last i heard was that eleven companies have had thirteen major DARPA contracts cancelled. This is the third trajectory that the company has embarked on since I started investing here, I can see that a fourth change of direction may be on the cards if NARF appears on DOGE's hit list.

If 1.2p is something you would be happy with then fair dues. I don't usually invest in micro companies but this, and JLP, are my favourites.I have traded this to the point where I am not that far from a free ride but I do intend (unless tragedy haapens) to hold for many years to come.

It is truly amazing how so many posters, from whom we have never heard of, crawl out of the woodwork as a share price goes boom. The same people will be selling up by the end of the day.
