Some of the technologies have not been invented yet and they are subject to the law and budgetary constraints, Y ou tell me one large project that has been completed on time, on budget? How about the Channel Tunnel? oops. Or perhaps HS2? oops. Or Disneyland Paris? oops. Need I go on?

That is a huge project and not one that will succeed in its entirety or quickly. The cost will be phenomenal. However, there is a penny to be made and Narf is in a great position to take a slice of that pie.

I can't see how you can mention UKW as a possible life belt for TRIG without including GRP in the mix.

I have never heard of a no win no fee libel case. Any such case is a 50/50 bet so I don't see that any such company will use their funds lightly. The lowest amount of damages in a libel case has been £1 (I thought it was "sixpence"). AAI will have to prove the harm it has suffered by TW and this includes how widespread has the libel spread by TW, clearly not very far. I am sitting on the sidelines enjoying the show.

It was always said that libel is a rich man's sport. I remember Jeffrey Archer raising a libel case against a newspaper back in 1987. He won and received £500,000 plus costs. He lied and was eventually jailed for four years. Nowadays, the costs of libel averages £750,000 and may run into millions. The loser pays damages, the winners costs, their own costs. Is this the best use of the company's money? Your money?

I have no financial interest in either camp but what I did learn in over 40 years of self employment is that one should only do business with people you trust and have morals. The comment about suicide is, in itself, suicidal. Once in the public domain, it will not be forgotten and there will always be a question mark over the morality and integrity of the poster. That, over time, will damage your company.
