Humorous. I'm still holding all of my shares. Got my £13+ dividend this morning but holding off on reinvesting until I can determine for definite whether or not there will be IA.
I think there will, but the price is inflated today because of DRIP. Tomorrow there will be a drop.
Why people would willingly reinvest their dividends or buy at the moment with the possibility of IA in 2 months?
My 13 sovs are staying safe for the time being!

Defroster. Don't live in Brentford (or Isleworth) but not far. I know the area fairly well and i've been the worse for wear many times in your manor. As I said, I was born in Isleworth but don't live or work there.

Have you ever heard of outdoor actuals? What about visual actuals? How is your manager (you) letting staff go home early?
If you're out on delivery, how do you know posties are finishing early?

Casuals???
Last year 3 casuals at a D.O in our area were "employed". They took out and delivered 1, YES ONE, delivery. And they were used to cover sickness.
So 24 hours for one delivery. Makes sense.
The money RMG gain by not paying strikers they'll lose over and above by employing casuals.

I really cannot believe that you don't care about your current t's & c's. This is your bread and butter. Your shares in a company you work for may give you something for the future. But only if you live long enough or are well enough to enjoy that. The pressure put on "some" members of staff at the moment is crazy. It's coming your way soon.

Outdoor actuals are only as good as the manager who uses them. They've actually been in place for over 2 years.
The real problem wasn't foreseen when all the revisions took place to incorporate park and loop. I'm sure you know what i'm talking about. You are on a shared round duty aren't you?
And I thought the actual problem was the "indoor militants". Your words, not mine. Not measured by PDA's.

Let me make this simple for you.
If there is a no vote, or even a yes vote and the scabs go into work, all four of those things I mentioned, will be eroded and eventually gone.
Do you actually think RMG will give pay rises if they don't have to?
Do you think they will give an attendance bonus if they don't have to?
Pensions? RMG contributions? Reduced or gone!

Stop worrying about the share price and worry about your job. Believe me, the company will thrive eventually. But not by the working mantra of: I say jump, you say how high.

If there is a no vote I have no doubt that the market may look on this favourably.
But you, as a postie, where do you stand on these points.

1- Do you agree that posties should have paid meal breaks?
2- Do you agree with paid sickness?
3- Are you happy (ish) with your pension deal?
4- Do you think that the SWW should be implemented?

Yes or no would suffice. If there is a no vote the above will be reviewed by RMG management. What do you think the outcome will be?

Take that up with your manager, not me. You make assumptions based on your office. You're in this for the money, i'm not. I still hold because, I cannot sell. But I think i'll retain them so I can come on here and post.
Let me explain again my position. If Mr Back gets his way you won't have this fantastic job where you're paid over and above for what you do (your words, sort of). Every benefit you have will eventually be stripped away.
Regarding IA. If this goes ahead, and the more I read, the more I believe it will. I cannot see any concessions from either side.
That is my opinion only. I could be wrong. But if i'm right, what do you think will happen to the share price?

This is not CWU spiel, it's my opinion. Whether or not you agree, I realy don't care. Some people on here actually like both sides of the coin.

And you didn't tell me how often I go home early or work over without claiming.
Do you not want pay rises or job and pension protection? That will be the reality from Mr Back without the CWU.

As for the free shares: Of course I took them. Sold at £3.47. Only holding 81 now. It went some way to shoring up my pension scheme. That thing that keeps on getting eroded year on year. One of the things that Mr Back will probably make an attack on. That thing that i'll go on strike to protect, so that scabs like yourself can reap the benefits.
Pay rises. You know that thing that the CWU fight for every year to keep your wages in line with CPI. That thing i'll go on strike for so scabs like you can earn more money. Do you think that Mr Back is going to give you a pay rise if he doesn't have to?
Paid meal breaks. We've covered that.
Wake up!!!!
RMG ain't interested in you, only how much they can get out of you.
Without the CWU your pay, conditions and job security will all be gone.

And all you're thinking about is clawing back your losses. And then making as much money as you can, along with virtually everyone else here.
People like mad and myself just want to protect our jobs and t's & c's.
Shareholders like yourself, want as much blood out of the proverbial stone, just to line your pockets.
You should be careful what you wish for regarding IA. You may think that a no vote will provide a sound footing for the company to move forward.
I, on the other hand, can only see job losses, decimation of wages and more importantly, a truly useless service based on failure, because there aren't enough blue collar workers to do the work.
And when RMG management are walking around flailing their whips, screaming at people to work harder and faster, the first people to moan will be the scabs.
Good luck averaging down. I'm assuming you'll be reinvesting your dividend.

Please don't think that IA is factored in. The reason there has not been a drop in price is because the market does not believe it will happen.
If there is an actual walkout and further dates proposed for more, then the price will drop.
