I actually agree with you. But it's not up to me as a sub servient blue collar worker to ask for it.
It is up to a manager (and I believe we have a lot on here at the moment) to enforce this.
How simple is that? The CWU are all in favour of working your time. You may not believe it, but it has been their mantra since I started and probably before.
So get of your high horse and actually think about what you're posting before you do it!

The point TP was making is probably lost on you, and others like you.
An agreement is in place with the CWU & RMG.
RMG now want to renege on certain parts of said agreement.
Now. If you were part of the CWU what would you expect TP to do?

You then mention PDA actuals. Extremely insightful, as i'm sure you know, they track everything that every postie does.
Correct? That would include loitering when on delivery as well as finish time at the office. Correct?

So, if posties are not doing what they are supposed to be doing, it is up to the managers (and believe it or not they actually get paid more than us posties), to right this wrong. Correct? Or am I missing something?

So to make things really easy for you, i'll ask a question.

wolvesposty, if you could get paid 38 hours money for actually doing 30 hours work, would you take it or say to your bosses, please give me more work!

I'm quite happy with TP 's salary,(cannot remember what it is or was) and I'm sure that you as a shareholder and all the other shareholders are happy with Mr Backs. Despite the fact his stance could seriously erode your investment in the short term.

T-Trades are usually followed by a number. T-10, T-20.
You basically buy shares on credit and have to pay inside within the time frame denoted by the figure.
For example: You buy 10,000 shares at 100p on a T-10. You don't pay for them straight away but have to settle within 10 working days. A bit like shorting in reverse.
