@ wolvesposty.
What exactly is the point you are making as a postie?
1 - Sick pay. You benefit if you are sick by getting your full wages paid. As do managers!!!
2 - Meal reliefs. A management issue not a posties. If management cannot manage down time within the office they should not be in that position. I suppose you, as a super postie, work flat out all day every day. You never talk to your colleagues (I won't say mates) because that would be dead time. Outdoor actuals to manage breaks is in force. But i'm yet to see anybody disciplined because of it. You should be worried more about what you do inside the office. It's called indoor lapsing. Understand?
3 - Pensions. Do you not realise it's not what you put in it's what you get out? This single point that you have made epitomises how ridiculous your entire argument is!
The CWU defend your terms and conditions, plain and simple. that applies whether or not you are in the CWU. I go on strike, lose money, but get the best deal for all posties. That includes the scabs. If it wasn't for the likes of me and mad, you would not have the conditions you have today.
Now do you understand!!!
@ RoyAlMail. The evidence is in your pay packet that you get paid breaks. If you didn't your salary would be about 40 quid a week lighter. 2 grand a year.
