Back payments long overdue - go out the window now that our masters can claim they are in a war zone - requiring extra for defence, protection, increased pipeline tariffs, maintenance, reduced National production - so funds marked for our payments will be diverted to finance essential government and social services…..any payments will be delayed by even more months …..dont hold your breath for a fair deal.

They imposed similar tactics previously during covid, feeding refugees, fighting the peshmerga…..whatever.

I’m fully focussed on timing my exit stage left escape off-ramp after 15 fruitless (and professionally embarassing) years of involvement with this flux of clusters.

OK looks like production may flow soon…..but we are due payments for deliveries in Dec25, Jan26 and Feb26 (plus overdues plus interest on some).

I would predict that many local palms need to greased, and excuses about war zone defense, maintenance etc. will be proffered before we see any payments for forthcoming deliveries when the oil flows.

I also fear that swarms of drones may appear above our production facilities (if Iran have any left).

Trump needs to spell it out clearly again to the population of Iran - the positive carrots on offer when they break away from rule by these fanatical religious killers.

Lifting of crippling embargoes, getting a meaningful life for their famillies - where medical care, housing, work and reward, travel, stability, hope…..can all be their’s.

If I recall - payments from the State Oil Co. are 2 months after we deliver oil into the pipeline….. so we should have cash flow for March & April flowing in - so totally viable to payout our dividend.

However - previous experiencies show that ANY excuse not to pay, according to meaningless paper contracts, rules…..so Baghdad will probably run to course and default until yet a further 2 months have elapsed after Trump has been forced to surrender to conditions set down by The Supreme Ruler (and his mate Putin).

B-B’s to treasury NEVER record a benefit to shareholders - as they smack of a BoD who have no productive ideas what to do with the Company’s discretionary capital - like paying off debt, or investing in growth, or acquisitions, or technology, or modernization - also The Markets know damned well that these bought-back shares (laying as stagnant capital in Treasury rather than being cancelled) will be reactivated shares when they are then awarded to the lucky management recipients as ‘incestuous awards and bonuses’.

If the BoD would immediately delete these shares after B-B ….. this action should at least give an minor arithmetic boost to the value of remaining shares (but beggars the question «could that BoD not find a more business relevant alternative to benefit the company they are charged with managing» )?
