Always suspected this is where ‘local sales’ were ending up - and our generous, on time payments were for staying ‘mum’ about the questionable events.

Sooner SOMO take control the better, and avoid us getting embroiled in ‘sanctions busting’ retributions.

EM will perhaps split BP up - and move the serious business over to the NYSE (to facilitate the inevitable onward sale thereof), leaving our present incumbents to run the less challenging retail, air fuel, shipping spin-offs …..still located in the LSE and retaining the BP nameplate ?

A neatly packaged win,win,win scenario for a seriously undervalued Company stuck in the doldrums.

With any luck, BP’s huge investment in the region will push the warlords onwards to actually get things moving in the bigger picture - rather than focusing on religious squabbles and prioritizing personal gains.

Pipeline will be a part of BP’s conditions surely - and perhaps a deal between Baghdad>

We appear to be lacking that (until a takeover rescues us from the bonds of mediocrity ).

As a shareholder - I exercise a right to observe, conclude, and to comment on events within the business I am invested in !

….In addition to my earlier ‘Moans’ have a look at the SP and the excessive, stagnant money at bank - which could be divested to those of us who bankroll the show.

Shouldn’t that be “big buy FOR Jon Harris” in the form of some of our shares being assigned to him (or worse still - being issued for him)?

He took the job at the super salary offered….apart from agreeing to supply ‘local sales’ (which are ending up in dubious destinations), he has neither increased the field potential, nor played hardball to recover the debts (and subsequent interest) which were incurred during his reign.

….. so why heap further honours and rewards on the chap ?

Maybe BL was just a bit premature in his ambitions for BP’s longterm aims - but he was probably on the right track ultimately.

Let’s see what The Donald sees in his crystal bals.

Wasn’t that along the lines of Bernard Looney’s crazy plans for BP’s self destructive future ?

How as mere shareholders can we ensure that no more follow-on buyback campaigns get sneaked through by the BoD - as absolutely nought was achieved by all the previous buybacks.

Much better SP response is won by using that cash to increase dividends (unless they play the old «held in treasury trick» and then we all know who get their hands on that share of our wasted working capital)!

Looks like my recent investment in The Baghdad Biscuit Co. was one of my smarter plays ;)
