Sliding chunks of our working capital, on virtually a daily basis, into share buy-backs - destined for safe keeping ‘in treasury’ is great news ;)
For management.
Perhaps using our valuable funds to eg:
Reduce our massive ongoing debt, cancel the bought back shares to reduce our shares in circulation, distribute the cash as returns to shareholders via dividends and a steadily increasing share price, dynamically expanding the business, betting on horses….. whatever.
Virtually anything - rather than arrogantly and openly building up a further treasury war chest - which we all should now realise - is soon destined for distribution by management among management as bonuses and rewards to each other for their joint efforts in contributing to our current stellar Company performance.
These lost shares will therefore NEVER return a benefit to us shareholders.
Who voted the BoD the facility to perform this abuse of our funds, one wonders ?
How can we -as meager shareholders- stop this patently self-rewarding practice during a period of embarrassingly negative performance ??
