It's entirely logical that the seasonal fluctuations happen. That mid November fall was as Proquo said the MMs walking the share price down with the winter shut down just beginning.

Bear in mind though that the operational window last year was massively shortened due to the local land access consent not being granted until the end of May. So a lot of time had already been lost, including no doubt various organisation/preparations involving DQE. In 2025 they will be ready to hit the ground running. This will be the first year in which the whole operational window will be open to the company from March or whenever the weather permits things to happen in 2025.

Very true - well stated. People who are currently bed wetting seem to have no idea of the seasonal fluctuations.

Whatever anybody says on here, the reality is that if someone had bought at say 2.5p in early 2014 and held right up now, then they would have found themselves at this current kind of price level 6 or 7 times during that those 11 years.

And every single year they could have sold at some point with between 100% to 400% profit. Even in 2020 during covid with the borders completely shut. with no lad access permit and with nothing happening the price still hit 4.8p at one point during that year. And if they had sold at the peak in 2017 they could have realised about 1,500 % profit.....

And if they had held right up to now, currently they would be 40% down....So what does all this tell you ?

Stas - what exactly is your interest on here though exactly ? You are not seemingly invested, yet you seem to spend most of the day on this board.

Are you looking to make money on shares, and if so what are you doing on here posting endlessly about a company that you seem to dislike, and run by a CEO that you obviously dislike also ? I just don't get it unless their is an ulterior motive. Why aren't you spending your time scouring the market finding companies that you believe will make you money ?

Unless you are being paid to deramp, or are shorting Matd with IG or City Index then the only other logical explanation can be that you get some weird kind of kick of watching the discomfort of other investors who may be underwater right now. It's like you're glorifying in it - a sick kind of schadenfreude.

Stas - it's not at an all time low. It was at these kind of levels in ;

Oct 2014, July 2016, Dec 2018, April 2020, July 2023 and Nov 2022....

Whether you like it or not - like that guy on ADVFN has been getting it right for 5 or 6 years. Buying about now and then selling in the spring/summer peak. As he's doing it again it must have worked for him.

What hasn't worked is what you seem to believe in - pay no action to the price action and simply leave it in for years with 300% to 400% consistent volatility every year between the high and the low of the year. And make sarcastic remarks about those who look at charts.

I don't really understand you - you have nothing to say about the company except sarcastic remarks, you are on here every day as seemingly your full time ' occupation, ' and seemingly you hate being invested in this company. Isn't there a better way to earn some money and to live your life ? Are you retired or something ?

And after the 2021 placing it fell to just over 2p, yet was back up to around 5p in Jan 2022....It has always rebounded strongly from a placing as long as it's the right time of year. This last placing in 2024 was going into a traditionally weak time of the year for the share price.

Stas - in 2023 just a few weeks after a 2p placing the share price rose to around 7p in May of that year. And the same applies to the price action after other placings. The most important factor is the time of year.

Listening to the likes of Stas you would think we were in a better position going into this year when the company had no legal access to the land, having already waited 3.5 years in order to gain the access. All that could have been done legally going into this year was another wildcat drill.

It's where the share price will be in spring and summer of 2025 which is all that matters - every single year going back to 2015 the share price hit at least 5p in those periods of the year. And in several of those years as high as 10p or even 38p in 2017. The only exception was 2020 with covid - and even then the share price hit 4.7p in the summer.

I don't like WOS either Stas. However it's plain wrong to tell other people to sell. What if you have it completely wrong ?

If you can't read a chart and have not looked at patterns of historical price action then you are simply cannot have any idea of likely price action. I repeat that every single year going back as far as 2015 the share price has hit at least 5p in spring or summer. And nearly always it has come from a 1.5p to 2.5p low. Only in 2020 when the borders were closed did it just miss reaching 5p - and even then it hit 4.7p with absolutely nothing happening, and no access consent granted.

And in several of those years since 2015 the share price hit a much higher peak - often up to around 10p. In 2017 it even hit 38.5p as the peak.

Espen the troll filtered now - though these guys have hidden agendas....

And since 2015 the only year when the share price didn't reach at least 5p in the spring or summer was in 2020 when all the borders were closed and nothing was happening at all. And no local access consent either.

And yet even in that terrible year the share price still rose from as low as 1.6p early in the year to as high as 4.7p in June 2020....And this will be the first year with the local access in place and with oil production already being underway.

Stas ; stop advising people what to do - you have little to no idea of the price action. It's their money, and frankly it's none of your business what they should do with it. If you don't like the company then just move on. What have you got to gain as a non-investor spending hours every day on here ? Clearly you have an ulterior motive - otherwise why would you ?

And if you knew anything about the price action you would know that many times in the past the price has dropped sharply in the second half of the year.

For example in June 2018 the share price hit a peak of 13.5p and then dropped sharply to 1.8p by December 2018. Then by Sept 2019 it hit a peak of 10p. Applying your wonderful logic and advice investors should have called the share a car crash when it was 1.8p and dumped their shares....

This time last year the company didn't even have any legal access to the land having waited 3.5 years for it, yet in May it 5.5p. And in Dec last year it was as low as 2.5p.

Doc ; what is undeniable is that over the past 11.5 years ( as far as my chart will go ) the price action has been seasonal.

As a matter of interest have you ever looked at a chart ?

Btw, this is the post a few days ago from the guy on ADVFN ;

The absolute best thing for this company would be a deal with DQE. It's been touted for years now, and I would have thought that it's by far he best alternative at this juncture. Even if they first have to prove higher flows from H1 and maybe get something more out of H2 in order to seal the deal with DQE - this is what they should be aiming for.

A deal would put a rocket under the share price. It's the most obvious way to roll out fast development of the Heron field without the need for further raises. Even if H1 was soon producing say 800 bopd and H2 300 bopd it would take months for the profits to roll in - and there is only a limited drilling season.
