Almost certainly algo bots - hence the neat rounded numbers. It's a known fact that in the US algo bots are heavily at play with micro caps, buying and selling to make profit on the spread. It's actually a good thing, as it helps maintain liquidity in stocks with typically low volumes. The algo bots will step aside if there is sudden volatility, as it becomes too risky.
