This business of selling up or holding doesn't have to be s binary. Especially with microcaps, which are inherently extremely volatile in terms of the price action. Watch US micro caps every day, and you will see what I mean.

It is possible to simply reduce a position if you reach break even, just as it is possible to top slice if you are in profit. Frankly I would have been far better off top slicing each time that I was briefly in profit since I first started buying back in late 2019.

StockMaiden has now made 56 posts abut MATD since the 16th January. So 56 posts about why he doesn't want to invest in the company...

Meanwhile , since the 16th January he has done 6 posts about the company which he is invested in - Oracle Power, which has fallen from 0.030p to 0.017 since he sang its praises to other investors in mid December.

StockMaiden's comments below about ORCP on 17th December 2024, when the share price was 0.030p. It is now 0.015p....

Oh, and at 7.30am straight after the last MATD RNS he confidently declared that the share price would fall by 40% on that day....

Hamm ; StockMaiden has posted 20 times in the last three days on the board of a share which seemingly he is not invested in, and just once in that time for the company which he seemingly is invested in...LOL.

Interesting what one poster wrote on the ORCP board ....How much more could some of his comments apply to MATD ? He's right btw about how the MMs operate ;

StockMaiden ; then why not post on the board of the stock that you are invested in ie the ORCP board ?

What are you hoping to do on here exactly ? Save future investors from making the a similar mistake to the one you have seemingly made so far with ORCP ? Or perhaps encourage holders to crystalise any paper losses which they may have incurred currently, and which may well be temporary? In the 5 years that I have held these shares I have been underwater at some point in every single year, but also briefly in profit at one stage in each of those 5 years.

Or maybe you are just enjoying a bit of good old fashioned schadenfreude to make you feel good? That kind of thing is common with some men.

And if you did encourage those currently holding paper losses to go ahead and crystalise those losses, and then later in the year the share price does what it has done in every other year to date, how do you think those people will feel about you and your ' advice ? '

StockMaiden ; however long you have followed MATD, you've clearly never paid much attention to long term charts or the patterns of price action.....

Stockmaiden ; name me a single year to date when the share price didn't recover to a bare minimum 4.8p ? And often much higher than that in quite a few years.

Even in the covid year, with the borders completely shut, with nothing happening, with the company having little funding, and with the company being blocked from legal access to the Heron land ( and with no idea whatsoever as to whether they would ever obtain it ) the price still recovered to 4.8p.

And ORCP down 8.8 % today I notice.....

StockMaiden ; considering that you said at about 7.30am straight after the last RNS that the share price would drop 40% and considering you admit to having a current large paper loss with ORCP, I think I will err on the side of not paying too much attention to your predictions....

Or maybe put it another way, - what are your predictions for a likely multi bagger on AIM ? I guess you expected ORCP to be your multibagger not too long ago....? It's easy to criticise non-stop, but what are your constructive ideas for one or two micro caps which should do well in 2025 ? I mean presumably you went for ORCP rather than say Rockhopper, so that's not a great testament to your knowledge or your ability to anticipate share price movements is it ?

So you can get a better idea about StockMaiden, here's a comment he posted the other day about Oracle Power. Oracle Power was 0.060p on 2nd Dec 2024 and is now 0.017..No wonder he's such an angry man, and taking it out on Matd.

Sounds to me like you may have lost money on another small cap share, and are an angry man who wants revenge through seeing similar happen to Matd holders so as to make you feel better....

I'm curious to know where the MG thinks the 30,000 bopd will come from for a refinery which is due to open by around the start of next year, and which has cost about $1.2 billion.

If the Mongolian government was considered solvent enough to lend it $1.2 billion from the Indian government, then I'm sure that it can afford a measly $10m to $15m or so to get Heron fast tracked to ensure that it can help properly supply the new refinery.

I don't expect that the Indians are building the refinery for free - it's a loan. Presumably the Indians thought that the MG is credit worthy enough to lend it several billions ?

And having spent billions on the refinery, I wonder what the political cost would be if there was hardly any oil to supply it ?

Thornogson ; the best one of all would have been Rolls Royce in late 2022. A large cap with fewer of the risks due to the price volatility inherent in micro caps. Unfortunately I missed it, when with hindsight once planes started flying again and they had a new dynamic CEO it was only likely to go one way....

I mean why is he here ? He isn't invested apparently, yet judging from his past comments he gets some kind of weird perverse pleasure from seeing people who are invested look uncomfortable. How could they when they were being blocked from the Heron land access due to the provincial governor plus - up until May last year - the district committee ?

I presume you think that it was MB's fault that the provincial governor wouldn't sign the tripartite agreement when the MG and PM had already signed it way back in early 2023 ?
